A digital newspaper is the edition of a newspaper that uses the Internet as its main means of dissemination where the chronology of when the news was published is detailed, while in creative writing a creative text is an original writing where imagination plays an important role and usually tells a story and generates great interest. Its main objective is to go beyond professional journalistic, academic or technical standards. Combining the purpose of the digital press and creative writing Disparates News was born as a fictitious digital newspaper whose peculiarity is that its news, although unusual, is not impossible and is written with humor. However, Disparates News is more than an anthology of stories told as news, it is also the story of its characters especially that of Atanasio Planchart known in the literary world as Peter Lambón De La Guardia.

FOREWORD

A digital newspaper is the edition of a newspaper that uses the Internet as its main means of dissemination. In the printed medium, a summary is implemented for each news item, in which a synthesis of the facts is detailed, while in the digital medium, the chronology of when the news was published is detailed.

Regarding creative writing, a creative text is an original piece of writing where imagination plays an important role and usually tells a story and generates great interest. Its main objective is to go beyond professional, journalistic, academic or technical standards.

Combining the purpose of the digital press and creative writing, Disparates News was born as a fictitious digital newspaper whose peculiarity is that its news, although unusual, is not impossible and is written with humor. The original idea of writing stories based on the headline of a crazy news story arose from a dynamic at the Hoja en Blanco Literary Workshop, founded and directed by the Argentine writer and personal friend Sonia Pericich.

Once the Disparates News newspaper was created, in special editions such as Halloween, All Souls' Day and Christmas 2022, I requested the collaboration of fellow writers such as Angy Del Toro (Cuba), Beatriz Abad (Spain) and Mabel Iglesias (Argentina), who had to act as journalists and develop short stories in this crazy way, without losing coherence and maintaining aesthetics, something they knew how to do very well. These special editions are available on the El Sello del Escritor blog.

In this first season, I have gathered twenty-two of the stories that were published on the blog, starting in July 2022, which arose from my own authorship under the pseudonym Lt. McFly. Here I make a presentation of the main characters who work at the newspaper and show the reader how and why Disparates News emerged, from the experience of Peter Lambón De La Guardia, its founder and protagonist of this crazy story that ultimately serves to reflect, in an absurd way, realities of everyday life.

CHAPTER 1

BOUQUET ETELITA

EXTRA! EXTRA! SHE SWEARS THAT HER SON IS THE RESULT OF AN ABDUCTION AND DEMANDS SUPPORT FROM AREA 51.

Etelvina Viloria, a woman from the town of Tácata, known by the locals as Bouquet Etelita, for her custom of bringing flowers to the doorways of houses where it is known that they are watching over a sick person, assures that in one of her night outings to carry a bouquet, she was abducted by an extraterrestrial ship and from that abduction she has left a son who she now has no way of supporting.

According to Etelita's own statements to the Independent Newspaper, her husband, about whom very little is known, because he did not go out in daylight and did not allow visitors in the house, two weeks ago decided to leave the home without giving further explanations. She told us that, with his hand on the doorknob, the only thing the man exclaimed, in an energetic and contemptuous tone, was I don't raise a foreign boy! They are all ungrateful!, because the boy had hit him over the head with the phone with all his enormous force, while furiously shouting ET, phone home!

That the creature did not consider this her home and wanted to leave with ET was an offense that Etelvina's husband could not stand and preferred to flee, abandoning her to her fate. Given the situation, and now finding herself alone with her son, Etelita has decided to follow the recommendation of a neighbor who convinced her to resort to legal proceedings to obtain alimony, managed through Area 51.

This news has turned out to be the sensation of the moment and has caused such a stir that it has given life to the new movement UNITED ABDUCCIES AND PREGNANTS, which has been joined by several Hollywood celebrities, who were unknown to have been contacted by extraterrestrials during the recordings of their movies and series. All people who wish to support the cause promoted by Etelvina can join this initiative, following the account of the multicolored bird @abductedunited and using the hashtags #IwasAlsoWithET #IamTheMomOfAnAlien and #NoToIrresponsibleAbduction

Etelvina Viloria and all her neighbors are currently heading towards the Area 51 facilities, ready to keep vigil for as long as necessary. They know that it is an arduous task, but they have the support of a large part of the community.

As Etelita assured us, while she was in our editorial
