About this ebook

In this issue there is a short story by the experienced Peruvian author Miguel Ángel Vallejo. It is the story of a Peruvian who enters a strange sect that seems to be out of this world. It is followed by another short story by the distinguished writer Sergio Mars. In this story, we will travel to a distant future in which new ways of working together with old ethical dilemmas arise. Román de la Cruz introduces us to a character besieged with his own mind. Then, Miguel Ccasani challenges our imagination with a story that brings us closer to what might be behind social networks. It makes us wonder: “Is what exists on the net real?” Jesus Manrique, on the other hand, introduces us to a mysterious passenger and a taxi driver who will fall prey to his own destiny. The last story is written by the fabulous Spanish author Miguel Huertas. In this story, a mysterious soldier will have to deal with a monster that ravages a small village. Along the way, he realizes that people can be more dangerous than the monsters themselves. The story has inspired the author to write his first epic fantasy novel, which will soon be published in Spanish and English.

Are you a passionate reader of fantasy, science fiction and horror genres? Would you like to meet new authors and truly amazing stories? If your answer to both questions is yes, this is your perfect opportunity. Stunning Stories is undoubtedly one of the best magazines of its kind in Latin America and Spain. In this magazine, you can find the best Spanish-language authors of the day.

In fact, this is the first time a Spanish language magazine has translated their stories into English so that they can be read by more people. This would not have been possible without the important and invaluable collaboration of our Argentine translator, Azul Bassi. Thanks to her, we can read in this first issue the stories that were published in our magazine in Spanish in 2015.
