The World is Dangerous. - Darren Hobson
The World is Dangerous.
Some stories are written and some stories are true and some are based on fact even though they are fiction. As we look out of our windows into the real world, as we take our eyes off the computer, as we all get fed up with the same old lies the news programs feed you we realise that this world is a dangerous place to be.
Due to the fact we are force fed lies from all over the place including your television, computer and smartphone we have been given an unrealistic view of the world, the adverts you see are about beautiful people having beautiful lives, living without a care in the world. Just look at the products they are advertising, items that may well be destroying the planet, they could be made of harmful chemicals that will in the end kill you or made in a country where slave labour is normal and the reduced price of the product is due to the fact the workers are paid buttons to make luxury gifts.
Anybody looking at the television or internet might get the wrong idea of our lifestyles somebody sat in Syria might think we are all sat in luxury here in Europe and might get angry with our way of life, it might look like we don’t have any consideration for religion or any consideration from people who invade our delicate lives from foreign lands, people who are just wanting to be fed the western dream that they too saw on the internet. Everybody wants to smile and have a great job surrounded by pleasant people, working flexible hours and not being pushed to the extremes, so you have seen that movie as well?
So the thing is the more these multinational firms push their products onto the world market, expanding into new countries where once there was an iron curtain or a concrete veil, using provocative images that might just upset the old establishments creating this dream that we all can live in harmony no matter where we live or our countries history, everybody loves the thought we can live happily ever after just like in some American film.
Imagine then that these new ideas will erode the old world. Some people do not want to change, some people fear the new world and new ideas, just the thought of people running amok in the streets without discipline or regret, the women showing too much flesh and voting and doing things that western women do, the fear and silence washed away by cosmetics and perfume, liberal views and open markets, alcohol flowing freely in the streets somebody is going to get really upset by this thought and the people who are set in their ways, their beliefs set so rigid it is like their minds are surrounded by iron and concrete, that they would do anything to protect their ideas, those extremist views give birth to something very dangerous.
So the whole world turns against the extremists, telling them that their ideas are old news, do we have the right to condemn a person who lives his way? Greater still how many times has it been noted that western tourists fly out for adventure in these delicate worlds and by stupidity break the laws of that land? Standing naked in the ancient temples, having sex on the beach, drinking and dancing in fountains, did they expect to be slapped on the wrist and be told off like a little child? We westerns seem to forget that
