I’VE always been a big fan of birthdays and September is packed with them. My mom, my nephew, two of my dearest friends and my darling sister all celebrate their birthdays this month.
I’m never going to be a birthday grinch no matter how old I get. Take the time to celebrate another year on this planet because, wow, what a gift – that’s my feeling on the subject. And no matter how many wrinkles or grey hairs make an appearance over the years, I’m not changing my stance.
For me it’s not about gifts or cake – although I don’t mind that sweet treat – it’s the fact that this day is all about celebrating life and it means so much to me when people remember it without a Facebook reminder.
