The Entrepreneurial Lazarus: Surviving A Roller-Coaster Lifetime of Business Births, Deaths, And Resurrections

While many who only knew of some of my monumental successes may have perceived me as a successful businessman to be envied, there is another side to the story: I have also encountered numerous business failures. I've had businesses that failed to take off despite months of planning and relentless effort. Conversely, I've initiated several businesses that experienced rapid and remarkable success, only to crash spectacularly a few years later.

Over the years, I've faced multiple setbacks in business, and with each failure, I gained new principles that contributed to my bounce back. These hard-earned lessons, acquired in the trenches of business, complete with scars and evidence to substantiate them, are what I share in this book.

Now, I impart these lessons to others who might find themselves at ground zero in business, demonstrating how they too can overcome their business failures and achieve success. When I mention that I am a modern-day Lazarus in business, people often chuckle, perhaps thinking it's a jest. I assure you, it is not. My comprehension of business resurgence stems from being a hands-on expert in the field.

Although it may appear that I'm boasting, let's focus on my comebacks. In a career spanning over thirty years, I estimate that I've encountered failure and returned to success at least twenty times, with seven of these instances involving dramatic crashes following significant triumphs. As a serial entrepreneur, I've navigated the cycle of ascension and descent countless times. Business is a complex puzzle to decipher.

Despite each breathtaking ascent and even more staggering descent, I never once contemplated abandoning the world of business or seeking a job for a guaranteed income. Instead, I consistently extricated myself from whatever business abyss I found myself in and embarked on new ventures.
