Why I Wrote This Book
—————————————————————-
The Harvest Is Plentiful For The Church On The Internet But The Laborers Are Largely Un-Educated About What To Do To Bring In The Harvest! This Book Is Your Step By Step Blueprint To Maximize The Internet For The Great Commission!
I want to thank you for choosing to read this book in order to improve the outreach effectiveness of your church or ministry using the new tool God has so graciously provided for man: The Internet.
I believe this little book is going to be one of the most important books you are ever going to read as far as digital outreach for churches is concerned because I am trusting God for it to help you reach and touch more souls than you ever imagined.
With the explosion of social media and the global digital community, where more and more people continue to spend more time online, and less in physical church buildings, coupled with the devastating effects of Covid19 on public gatherings, it has become imperative for the Pastors, Ministers, Church Workers, and all committed Christians, to learn how to use social media and the internet for soul-winning, church growth, and church funding.
The Covid19 Pandemic has also forced most people to carry out their businesses via the Internet. So, despite the pandemic and the guidelines, life must go on, including carrying out the Great Commission
Unfortunately, most church pastors, ministers, and church workers are ignorant about the systematic process of maximizing the internet for the Great Commission. The harvest is plentiful online, but the laborers are very few, untrained and mostly unaware of how to bring in the harvest of souls just wondering around online.
This book is first of its kind as far as I know. It is a book on how to carry out the Great Commission via the Internet. This Digital Church Blueprint will show you the step-by-step process for building and sustaining an online ministry.
I wrote this Digital Church Blueprint to use my extensive knowledge and experience as a Digital Business Consultant in the last 9 years to guide Pastors, Ministers, Church Workers and all Christians interested in pursuing The Great Commission on how to take advantage of social media and the Internet to further the cause of the gospel.
It will help you as the reader to set up online platforms for your church and show you how to create sustainable digital outreach structures for your online ministry.
It covers everything from the Internet Outreach Foundational Structures you need, to the crucial Digital Outreach Pillars that must be in place for your ministry to actively contend for souls online, while also keeping believers well fed and well discipled.
After reading this book, if you would like to have a one on one FREE Strategy call with me on how myself and my team can help your church or ministry take advantage of the Internet to the fullest, then simply book an appointment at www.Netvangelism360.com/appointment. I will personally give you a 60 minutes FREE Video Consultation via Zoom and answer any questions you may have about implementing any part of this book.
Chapter II

Why Netvangelism Is So Critical To Your Ministry Now
——————————————————
The reality is that churches don’t have a choice now, they have to go and learn digital outreach, or what is now popularly called Netvangelism, and I believe you need to have the mental background of why you need to do this.
Many Pastors and church workers are making efforts to reach out on the internet because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I believe this is something every church should take serious, COVID-19 or no COVID-19.
In fact, I have been on the crusade to get churches to take the internet very seriously now for over 4 years, but few listened until Covid19 made the issue of digital outreach for ALL churches a moot point.
Now, I believe it is especially important for you to understand why you need to do this.
If people don't understand why Netvangelism [OR Digital Church Outreach is critical for them today, when the Covid-19 pandemic ends, and a vaccine or cure is ultimately found for covid19, the tendency would be for them to go back to their old ways. It is important for you to understand that although this might have been forced on you by the pandemic, netvangelism is a must for every church today.
I believe COVID-19 is just a catalyst to make you start thinking about netvangelism more than you were thinking before. The netvangelism idea transcends this crisis. The COVID-19 pandemic will be over by God's grace and none of us shall be a victim in the mighty name of Jesus. It is a virus, it will go as suddenly as it came, but I don't want you to think that once the crisis is over, you can go back to your normal way of conducting church service. Events have overtaken that. The world is moving faster than that.
Right now, so many pastors and church workers are confused as to what to do. I met a pastor who doesn't even know how to create a Facebook page and he was desperate to reach his congregation. He had about 90 people in his church, that's a lot of souls! We had to agree for him to record a sermon and then I helped him create his own YouTube account so he could get it out to his members.
Plentiful harvest online, few trained laborers in digital outreach
Many churches are going to find out over time that they should have started serious Digital Outreach years ago because the harvest is there. The figures say there are over three billion people browsing and interacting Facebook alone, every day, then you know that we have a lot of work to do.
The Bible says that all things work together for good to them that love God, and are the called according to His purpose, so despite all the negative things about the COVID-19 pandemic, there is something positive coming out of it. One of such positive developments is that Covid19 is forcing churches to look at how they can do God's work outside of the church building.
All of a sudden, the beautiful church buildings that most pastors almost killed themselves and members of their congregations to build, are no longer relevant as far as spreading the word of God is concerned. This is the time to show that the church is a lot more than a building.
Paul was an expert builder on the Foundation laid by Christ. We have been building on that Foundation with the physical church structures, activities, and physical contact-based discipleship, and that is great, but now is the time to do the same thing on the Internet.
FACT: Church attendance on the decline across the board, with very few exceptions
The reality on ground is that churches can’t meet as usual; it’s not that you don't want to meet, but the government and health authorities have mandated that you can't meet. Then what? Does it mean that people would no longer get fed the Word of God? What happens to evangelism, discipleship, and fellowship of believers?
It seems that in today’s busy, wild, and degenerate world, with the exception of few churches, general church attendance seems to be on the decline even before the pandemic. During covid19, church attendance was zero in many places. The local church I attend in Omaha, Nebraska, USA, has over 10,000 members, but they couldn't open. We were all forced to figure out a way to attend church online.
Now, Bible study and counselling were put on hold because most churches didn't know that they could do all of that online, and they had no structure on ground to do them online.
People still needed deliverance during the lockdown; they needed prayers; they were still trying to get married so they still needed counselling. All of that did not need to have been on hold if the church had the necessary structure in place. That is what this book is all about.
Many people are losing out on the opportunity to hear about the reconciliation with their Creator and the wonderful life that Jesus is offering because they no longer go to church for
