Journey of Life

As I walk through

The valley of life

I see Pictures.

On the canyon walls

Ones of times gone by

Some of what may be

The river of dreams

Flows beside me

Moving, changing

With the speed of time.

There are calm areas

I could cross, Or hard rapids.

The world challenges the best.

Overhead the blazing sun

Or the soft moon

When will my journey end?

When will it begin?

How will it continue?

Forever if I cannot

Walk it any more

Looking back I see

Only darkness

But ahead....

Ahead I see light,

Hope, and a sense

Of being.

Walk With Me

In the garden of life

Walk with me

Over the river of life

Walk with me

Through the valley of death

To where ever I go

I am not a leader

So don’t follow

I never stay behind

So don’t go ahead

Walk beside me

With me

For all-time

Walk with me

In all paths

That we take

If the road is rough

Though it through

If the dirt is soft

Walk proud

Clear skies

Heavy storms

By the light of day

Or the dark of night

Walk with me

To worlds unknown,

To an adventure

Walk with me
