Let's answer the call for transformation, discover the path to being born again, and soar on a journey that will forever change the course of our lives.

    - A Longing for Spiritual Renewal and a Fresh Start.

Since the day Adam and Eve sinned, the bond that was connecting the human race with God was cut. So now, in the depths of every human heart, there exists a longing for spiritual renewal and a fresh start. It is an aspiration that transcends cultural and religious boundaries, uniting people as they seek a deeper connection with the Creator. In a world marked by chaos, uncertainty, and the weight of past mistakes, this longing arises as a beacon of hope. It whispers to us in moments of pain, urging us to break free from the chains that bind us and embrace a renewed existence.

Whether it manifests as a yearning for forgiveness, a desire for inner peace, or a hunger for purpose and meaning, this longing moves us on a journey of transformation. It compels us to seek a spiritual rebirth, an opportunity to leave behind the old and embrace the new.

Throughout history before Jesus come on earth, countless individuals have felt this yearning and trying to respond to its call but without success. Man by his own effort cannot reach nor have the peace that sin took from him. By the divine wisdom of God; the lamb was offer for man before the foundation of the world, because without it man will try and search for renewal their entire lives, without reaching it.

The longing for spiritual renewal speaks to our inherent nature, as beings, seeking growth, healing, and wealth. It is a reminder that we are helpless, limited and in need of God.

    - The Biblical Teachings on Being Born Again.

In the pages of the Bible, being born again takes root and flourishes, offering profound insights into the transformative nature of spiritual rebirth. Its revelation speaks to the depths of the human soul, illuminating a path of renewal, redemption, and restored relationship with God.

The notion of being born again finds its origin in the teachings of Jesus Christ, who emphasized the necessity of a spiritual rebirth and a radical change of heart to see the kingdom of God. In the Gospel of John, Jesus tells Nicodemus, Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3). These words resonate throughout the ages, inviting us to contemplate the meaning of that deep experience.

To be born again is to go through a spiritual transformation, a rebirth of the innermost being. It is not a mere physical or intellectual change, but a profound shift in the core of our being as we surrender our old ways, receive God's grace, and embrace a new life in Christ.

The notion of being born again includes several key biblical teachings. It emphasizes the need for repentance, a turning away from sin and a genuine desire to change. It highlights the transformative power of God's grace, which extends forgiveness and offers new beginnings. It underscores the role of faith and belief in receiving the gift of salvation and entering into a renewed relationship with God.

Throughout the Bible, stories of individuals who experienced spiritual rebirth serve as testimonies to the transformative power of being born again. From the encounter of Barnabas, Cornelius, Eunuch of Ethiopia, the prodigal son with his loving father to the conversion of the apostle Paul on the road to Damascus, these accounts bear witness to the profound impact that being born again can have on a person's life.

As we journey through the biblical teachings on being born again, we will deepen into these narratives, drawing lessons and inspiration from the lives of those who have walked this path before us. We will explore the words of Jesus, the apostles, and the prophets.

At the end of the day, the concept of being born again provides hope and a fresh start. It invites us to embrace the transformative power of God's love, to shed the old and embrace the new, and to experience a profound rebirth of our spirit.

So let us embark on this journey together, as we explore the depths of our longing and embrace the transformative power of being born again.

    The Nature of Humanity

    ––––––––

In this chapter, I pray that the Holy Spirit open your understanding, because we are delving into the nature of humanity as portrayed in the Bible, providing awareness into our inherent strengths, weaknesses, and our need for spiritual transformation, and our need for a fresh start. Through biblical teachings, we explore the concept of sin, the consequences of our fallen nature, and the universal longing for redemption and restoration.

1.1 The Divine Image within Us

Within the depths of every human being lies the divine image and resemblance, a sacred imprint reflecting our connection to God. This is real proof that God created us divine as He is. Jesus Christ, during His ministry, quote one of the twelve Psalms of Asaph to those who were opposing him in John 10:34, I said, you are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.(Psalm 82:6-7). This truth, rooted in the biblical teachings, reveals the inherent dignity, worth, and purpose that each person carries.

As we open the book of Genesis, we encounter the account of creation, where humanity is created in the image of God. In Genesis 1:27, it is written: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. This foundational truth reveals that we bear an image and resemblance to our Creator, an imprint of divine qualities, abilities, reflecting His love, creativity, wisdom, and capacity for relationship.

The acknowledgement of the divine image within us carries profound implications. It affirms our inherent worth and value, reminding us that we are not mere accidents or products of chance as many scientific theories declares. Each individual, regardless of their background, sex, race or circumstances, possesses a sacred worth that transcends earthly measures.

No man can comprehend what man is, if he doesn’t have access to the divine counsel. The King David in his writings asked a profound question concerning man. When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honour. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes along the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! (Psalm 8:3-9).

After creating the heavenly beings, God was still keeping a high dimension of satisfaction and when Lucifer rebelled against God because he wanted to be like God. How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!  You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High. But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.(Isaiah 14:1-15) God created another being called man, and placed in him His image and resemblance and expressed the higher dimension of satisfaction. The bible said in Genesis 1:31 "And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. It was as if God demonstrated to the rebel angel that he couldn’t be like Him, because he was never created in the image of God.

The divine image within us speaks to our purpose and calling. It signifies that we are uniquely designed to fulfil a specific role in God's grand plan. It invites us to discover and cultivate our gifts, talents, and passions, using them to bring forth goodness, justice, and beauty into the world. However, it is important to note that the divine image within us has been marred by the consequences of human rebellion and sin. The fall, as depicted in Genesis, narrates the turning away from God's perfect plan, leading to brokenness, separation, and the distortion of our true identity.

Yet, despite this brokenness, the divine image remains within us, although veiled and in need of restoration. The journey of being born again invites us to reclaim and nurture this divine image, to align ourselves with the character and purposes of God, and to undergo a transformative process that brings us to our original design.

The acknowledgment of the divine image invites us to honour and respect one another, embracing the inherent value of every individual. It calls us to seek justice, equality, and compassion, recognizing that each person is a bearer of the divine image.

In the search for being born again, we acknowledge the divine image as the starting point, a reminder of our inherent connection to God and the potential for transformation that resides within us, the possibility to be redeemed.

    - Humanity is Made in The Image Of God.

Examining the biblical account of creation, and the belief that humanity is made in the image of God unveils profound insights into the nature and significance of human beings. In the book of Genesis, the book of beginning, we encounter the narrative of creation, where the divine act of shaping humanity unfolds.

According to Genesis 1:26-27, God declared, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. This passage affirms that humanity is uniquely fashioned to reflect the image and likeness of God, not less.

The belief in the divine image of humanity has important consequences. It signifies that human beings possess inherent worth, dignity, and purpose. It highlights that there is something distinct about our nature that sets us apart from the rest of creation. We bear qualities and attribute that mirror the character of our Creator.

Being made in the image of God suggests that we share His creative nature. It points to our capacity to think, to reason, to help, to support and exercise wisdom. It emphasizes our ability to engage in relationships, to love, show compassion, and practice justice. These divine attributes within us reflect the inherent goodness and beauty of God's design.

Moreover, the belief in the divine image reinforces the inherent equality and value of every human being. Regardless of differences in gender, race, or social status, each person carries the divine imprint. This understanding calls for respect, dignity, and the recognition of the inherent worth of all individuals.

Yet it is essential to note that the divine image within humanity has been tarnished by the presence of sin and frailty in the world. The consequences of human rebellion and disobedience have distorted and weakened the reflection of God's image within us. This frailty is evident in the injustices, conflicts, and suffering we witness in our world.

At the same time, the concept of rebirth offers hope and restoration. It is an invitation to reclaim and restore the divine image within us through receiving Jesus in our heart. The only way to reclaim and restore the divine image is through receiving Jesus Christ. By receiving Jesus Christ, God restore the bond that was broken. Presently, we are still in the fleshly body, and we have to embrace the teachings of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, so that we can experience a renewal of our true identity and purpose, aligning ourselves with the image of God in this world. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.( Romans 12:2)

In exploring the biblical account of creation and the belief in the divine image, we acknowledge the deep meaning of our lives. It encourages us to receive Jesus in our life and embrace our identity as bearers of the divine image, to honour the inherent worth of others, and to pursue a journey of spiritual transformation that aligns us with the character and purposes of God.

As beings created in the image of God, we cannot live without God no matter our talents and accomplishments. I was a young man trying to be someone and influence my generation, but inside of me was an emptiness that the school, the rap music I was doing, the girls and even friends could not fill. I know many of you have this feeling or felt it. It is our divine nature, the image of God that is longing to connect to God. Sex, alcohol, philosophy and drugs cannot help, what you need in this moment, is God.

The recognition of our divine nature signifies that we are not merely physical beings, but spiritual beings in need of God. It reminds us that there is a deeper essence within us, a spiritual core that transcends the limitations of the material world. This acknowledgement invites us to explore and nurture our spiritual dimension, seeking a meaningful relationship with God and a deeper understanding of our purpose in His plan.

The significance of our divine nature lies in the invitation to align our lives with the character and purposes of God. As beings made in His image, we are called to reflect His love, goodness, compassion, and wisdom in our thoughts, actions and relationships. It means cultivating virtues such as kindness, forgiveness, humility and generosity, which are emblematic of our divine nature. This is not possible without being born again.

There is a deep relation that our spirit need and it is only in God; It assures us that we are not bound by sin, our past mistakes, limitations, or struggles. Instead, we are called to embrace the potential for growth, healing and renewal. This acknowledgement of our divine nature invites us to get on a journey of inner transformation, where we surrender our ego-driven desires, align our will with God's, and allow His grace to shape us into the individuals we were created to be.

In this book I want you to understand the importance of our divine nature, because it gives power to live with purpose, meaning and a sense of belonging. The image of God in us, reminds us that our lives have a higher calling and that we are co-creators with God in shaping a world of justice, love, and compassion.

In conclusion, embracing and exploring our divine nature is an invitation to experience the rebirth, the fullness of life, to deepen our spiritual connection and to fulfil our purpose in the world. It is an acknowledgment that our truest identity and fulfilment lie in our relationship with God.

1.2 The Fall and the Human Condition

In searching the fall and the human condition, we delve into the biblical narrative that speaks to the origin of human frailty and the impact it has on our lives. The fall refers to the story of Adam and Eve's disobedience in the Garden of Eden and its far-reaching consequences for humanity.

According to the biblical account in Genesis, God placed Adam and Eve in a state of innocence and harmony in the Garden, with the freedom to enjoy its abundance and commune with their Creator. However, they were tempted by the serpent and chose to disobey God's command by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

This act of disobedience introduced sin and its consequences into the world. The fall resulted in a rupture in humanity's relationship with God, leading to spiritual separation and a distorted understanding of truth and righteousness. It also brought about the experience of pain, suffering, and mortality, affecting not only Adam and Eve but all subsequent generations.

The fall represents the universal human condition, characterized by an inclination or tendency for disobedience, selfishness and a disconnection from God's intended design. It reflects the frailty and fallen nature that pervades humanity, resulting in a world marred by sin, injustice and broken relationships.

As a consequence of the fall, human beings are prone to a myriad of struggles and challenges. We are confront with inner conflicts, wrestle with selfish desires and experience the consequences of our actions and the actions of others. The state of being human is marked by vulnerability, brokenness, and a yearning for redemption and restoration.

However, it is essential to note that while the fall illuminates the frailty within humanity, it is not the final word. The story of the fall sets the stage for the narrative of redemption and restoration that unfolds throughout the Bible.

Recognizing the reality of the fall and the human condition allows us to acknowledge our need for salvation and spiritual transformation. It highlights our dependence on God's grace, forgiveness and healing. It also serves as a reminder of the importance of seeking reconciliation with God and one another, addressing the brokenness and injustices that stem from the fall.

The narrative of the fall and the human condition provides the backdrop for the concept of being born again. It speaks to the deep longing within us for restoration, renewal, and a return to the intended state of harmony with God. Through embracing the transformative power of God's love, grace, and redemption, we can find healing, liberation, and a renewed sense of purpose.

In wrestle with the fall and the human condition, we are invited to confront our frailty honestly, to seek forgiveness and reconciliation, and to participate in the on-going work of God's redemption in our lives and in the world. It is a call to acknowledge our need for transformation and to embrace the hope of a restored relationship with our Creator, where we can experience wholeness, healing, and the abundant life that God intended for us, and it is possible in Christ Jesus, because the grace of God still operate.

    - The story of Adam and Eve's disobedience and its consequences for humanity.

Exploring the story of Adam and Eve's disobedience and its consequences for humanity takes us back to the narrative of the Garden of Eden in the book of Genesis. This pivotal story recounts the events that led to the fall and the enduring impact it has on all of humanity.

In Genesis 3, we learn that God had placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and given them dominion over all the creatures of the earth and entrusted them with the care of the perfect creation. They were free; they enjoyed a harmonious relationship with God, lived in perfect innocence and had unrestricted access to the abundance of the garden, except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. God warned them that if they were to eat from it, they would surely die (Genesis 2:16-17).

Nevertheless, deceived by the serpent, Adam and Eve succumbed to temptation and chose to disobey God's command (Genesis 3:6). They ate the forbidden fruit, seeking wisdom and autonomy apart from God's guidance. This act of rebellion against God's authority resulted in profound consequences for themselves and all of humanity.

As a result of their disobedience, Adam and Eve experienced immediate consequences; they severed their intimate communion with God. They experienced a spiritual separation and a loss of the innocence and harmony they once enjoyed. They realized their nakedness and felt shame and guilt, so they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves (Genesis 3:7). When God confronted them for their wrongdoing, they tried to shift the blame, with Adam blaming Eve and Eve blaming the serpent (Genesis 3:11-13).

Moreover, God pronounced judgment and pronounced the consequences of their actions. To Adam, God said, Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, 'You shall not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life (Genesis 3:17). God also declared that man would experience difficulty and toil in work and that eventually, he would return to the dust from which he was made (Genesis 3:19). To the woman he said, I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be contrary to your husband, but he shall rule over you. (Genesis 3:16). The Lord God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.

In addition, their disobedience brought sin into the world, corrupting human nature and affecting all subsequent generations. Sin brought about a rupture in relationships, leading to discord, brokenness, and a propensity for selfishness and wrongdoing. It distorted human desires, leading to a struggle between self-centeredness and the pursuit of righteousness.

The consequences of Adam and Eve's disobedience extended beyond their personal lives. They affected the entire created order. In Romans 5:12, the apostle Paul states, Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned. This passage emphasizes the universal impact of Adam and Eve's disobedience, as it
