      Dancing on Air

      Silver gull soaring sweeping

      above the waterline

      not keeping me company

      as I first thought

      He had another partner

      to celebrate the morning with

      a welcome swallow darting

      in perfect unison

      together they were dancing on air

      Green Goddess Lily

      She takes my breath away each time I see her

      feet in a trickling stream on a mountainside

      surrounded by lush leaves – tropical and vivid

      Her trumpet flower impossibly green

      white centre merely highlighting her mystery

      making me want to reach for a paintbrush

      to bring her to my idea of completeness
