About this ebook

Despite my attempts to avoid him, the sexy stranger watching me from the waves may be my only chance to survive.

I thought getting dumped on my one year anniversary was the worst thing that could happen to me. Turns out it was just the start.
Instead of pining in my empty bed I decide to fill my morning with the only thing that's never let me down, soaring through the air on my kiteboard. It was working until I lost control and crashed into the reef.

My only chance to survive is the sexy, mysterious, stranger who watches me during his morning swim.

He wants to do more than just save me, but his secrets are holding him back. Can I survive long enough to convince him they are nothing compared to this burning desire?
I want one amazing night that will blow every past experience out of the water, and I plan on getting what I want.

This quick read features a daring heroine and an alpha male hero with a secret. Get ready for a red-hot story that will have you wishing you could splash in the ocean to cool off.

Warning this story ends with a happy for now. Trevor's story continues in other books in this series.

    Cutthroat! Impulsive! Infuriating!

David’s complaints rushed through my mind as I laid out my kiteboarding equipment. I shouldn’t be doing this by myself, but, as he would say, I was nothing if not rash.

Honestly though, it wasn’t about being rash. Most mornings a group of us spread out along the beach, far enough apart to feel alone, but close enough to be there if anything happened.

Like an idiot I’d assumed that my one-year anniversary with that bastard would be something to celebrate. I’d canceled the meet up because I thought we’d be having a sexy breakfast in bed. By the time he broke up with me it was too late to call and reschedule our sunrise outing. So here I was, alone, and it was all his fault.

My heels dug into the cold soft sand as I shrugged into my rig. A quick scan of the roadway and beachfront showed no one approaching. At least being alone meant I didn’t have to worry about that damned swimmer that always showed up. I didn’t know who brought him, but every time he swam in my space I wanted to wring his neck. All I ever wanted was a little bit of alone time; just me, the sun, the waves, and the breeze. Yet, he showed up every time; it threw off my groove.

A light breeze pushed the hair out of my face. It was time to fly. I popped my kite into the air and gave a small running jump. For ten seconds of pure bliss, I was airborne. Now that my safety check was done, I grabbed my board, practically bouncing on my way to the water. Something about flying
