    A Note

    Hello lovely reader!

I wrote this short story based off my favourite poem by Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven. You may see the same themes in this story.

I have loved Edgar's writings for decades and find so much inspiration and passion in his words.

In this story, you see grief in its purest form. We all feel this in our life, but I like to think that at the end, you see the need to move on.

Grief is a state of mind.

We all need to go through it, but it's how we move on that defines us.

There's no set time on how we move forward, some take longer than others, but in the end, we all have the strength that it takes to make our lives better.

    Dedication

This was written in honour and in memory of the tortured artist known as Edgar Allan Poe.
