About this ebook
Because many people believe in evolution and others feel God, if He exists, has deserted this world, nothing seems definite that we can count on. We feel isolated and unsafe; crime has increased. People are looking for a leader who will bring peace and safety. Many different things have been said about what will happen at the end of this world and Armageddon, and in this book, you will learn what the Bible actually says about it. The Lord sent His words through the prophets to be recorded for us, and the books of Daniel and Revelation have some future events told to us in symbols. If you were ever curious and wanted a comprehensive understanding of the meaning of what will happen, the symbols and the timeline are explained in detail with the Bible verses to confirm what is written.
These questions are answered by the Bible:
• What is the tribulation and how long does it last? Did the Bible give us exact days? What event will start the tribulation period? What happens during it?
• Did God provide an escape? What is the Rapture?
• What happens after Armageddon?
Because the meaning of the two books have been sealed and kept secret, important Bible verses have been overlooked, and personal beliefs caused more than one misinterpretation. Now they are unsealed and revealed because we are in the time period which will bring the return of Jesus Christ our Savior!
E.J. Berea
This book is a compilation of insights from the Holy Spirit given to end times students, and discussions from those pastors and people who have spent years studying the books. Because we are the body of Christ and meant to work together, the Holy Spirit did not give the meaning of what is written in the Bible about the last days to only one person. When the pieces of the puzzle were put together, it made a picture we can understand. Glory to God in the Highest!

About the Author
INTRODUCTION
The Holy Bible is the inerrant word of God. All scripture was dictated to men by the Holy Spirit and recorded in the Bible (2Timothy 3:16). God is eternal and He can know and arrange the future. God gave Daniel and John visions in which He reveals what happens in the last days of this world before Jesus returns to rule in His kingdom on earth. Scripture about the future is scattered throughout other Bible books such as Ezekiel, Isaiah, Micah, and I will quote verses from these and other books for a better understanding of the future events described in Daniel and Revelation. The true understanding of what happens has been kept hidden from us by using symbols for these events, and many who have studied these books interpreted the timing and some of the phrasing differently. Because the symbols are like a riddle, some of the future events are derived by reasoning, and there is a consensus of beliefs that Bible colleges teach their students. After years of study and shared insight, I decided to write this book to help people understand the meaning of the symbols and show the timeline with corroborating scripture. Contrary to popular belief, the Tribulation period is almost TEN years!
We have been blinded to recognize some important verses that give us the timeline because God wanted the books kept secret until the time of the end. Many pastors agreed on beliefs that are discredited by overlooked scripture. I encourage you to ask the Lord if what I have written is the true meaning. ...Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end
(Daniel 12:9). This is the time of the end.
CHAPTER 1
THE BOOKS OF DANIEL
AND REVELATION
The books of Daniel and Revelation reveal events, portrayed in symbols, which will occur in the final years before Jesus comes back to the earth to rule in His millennial kingdom (Revelation 20:4). Daniel and John are given visions in which most of what they see they term beasts
, and some have horns
, but the Bible always tells us the general meaning of each. The book of Daniel has more details and together they give us a better understanding of what will happen at the end of this present world. We are given the number of days of some specific events in Daniel, and the Trumpet and Vial Judgments in Revelation have a definite chronological order.
The Amplified Bible says we are blessed if we read and hear (others discuss) the Revelation prophecy because it is a warning that God’s judgment will come on the disobedient and those who are indifferent to the Gospel message (Amp., Col.3:5,6, Rom.2:5, Rev.1:3, 2Thes.1:8,9). Jesus said he would show His love for His people who obey His precepts and protect them (Rev.3:9,10). God has provided a way out of what will happen. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour [time] of temptation [testing] which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth
(Rev.3:10, Proverbs 19:16). Patient endurance or perseverance is fully explained in Romans 2:5-10. Jesus said ...pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man
(KJV, Luke 21:36, 2Thes.1:4,5,11). Other Bible versions have a different meaning than the KJV for that verse. The KJV says we are to pray that God counts us worthy, but the other versions say we need to pray for the strength to escape what is coming on the earth. We could never escape by ourselves. We will gather together to meet the Lord and be removed from the earth when the Lord’s wrath comes on the whole world (Mt.24:31, 2Thes.2:1-4; 1Thes.1:10; 4:16,17; 5:10, Rev.11:15,18; 12:10).
I may abbreviate the names of Bible books as follows; Daniel to Dan., Revelation to Rev., Colossians to Col., Thessalonians, Thes., Corinthians, Cor., Matthew, Mt., Zechariah, Zech., Ephesians, Eph., Jeremiah, Jer., Galatians, Gal., Chronicles, Chron., Philippians, Phil., Hebrews, Heb., Romans, Rom., Genesis, Gen., Ezekiel, Eze., Isaiah, Isa., Exodus, Exo., Mal., for Malachi. Some verses will only be excerpts.

THE NEW TESTAMENT CHURCH
The New Testament of the Bible is the new covenant God makes with mankind (Romans 11:26,27). Its content is the testimony of Jesus’ deity and attributes, and the God-given commission to make disciples through churches by sending people with the Gospel message to the whole world. Gospel
means good news
and it is how to be reconciled with God through Jesus (Colossians 1:14,20). The concept of the Trinity was not understood clearly in the Old Testament, and the New Testament (new covenant, Jer.31:31) has more verses clarifying God is three entities and they are united. In the Old Testament, Jesus is not named, but He is usually called an Angel of the Lord as in Gen.16:10, and Judges 2:1. In Joshua 5:13-15 Jesus appeared to Joshua and He accepted worship from Joshua. The Father has never been seen by men,...there shall no man see me, and live
(Exodus 33:20). In Rev.19:10 when John fell to worship the angel, he was told to worship only God. The Holy Spirit as an entity is in this verse, And the Lord came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it to the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease
(Numbers 11:25). Daniel 5:11 said, There is a man in my kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods…
More references to the Holy Spirit as a separate entity are in the book of Ezekiel, verses 3:23,24, and 37:14. 1Cor.3:16 says Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
God can be everywhere. John 16:7 said Jesus had to go to the Father so that the comforter (Holy Spirit) could come to them (John 16:17). Mt.12:31 tells us any sin or blasphemy against Jesus could be forgiven, but against the Holy Spirit it will not be forgiven. In a Bible dictionary, the word for God is Elohim in Hebrew which is plural and used for God over 2,500 times. Predictions for Jesus are in Psalms 2:7, ...Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee
and Psalms 2:12, Kiss the Son, lest he be angry…Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
In Isaiah 9:6, ...unto us a child is born…a son is given…his name shall be called…The mighty God…
I believe what is confusing to many people is the word begotten
and it means born of a woman. In the Genesis genealogies the parents begat
children (Genesis 4:18). Jesus, God’s Spirit in the second person, was placed in Mary to be born in human form in order to take the human punishment for sin (death), and to be the firstfruit
which means the first one of many humans raised from the dead for God’s praise (John 1:14; 4:24, Rom.6:23, 1Cor.15:20-23, Eph.1:14, Jer.1:5). He was equally God and man and He liked to emphasize His humanity by calling Himself the Son of man
(Dan.7:13, Rev.1:8,13). He experienced how difficult life could be and in understanding that He became our mediator with the Father (1Tim.2:5, 1John 2:1, Rev.12:10, Mt.26:41, Phil.2:6). The churches are to teach all nations to be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins (wrongdoing) and observe (do) the commandments of Jesus (Acts 2:37,38, Matthew 28:19,20, Rev.22:14). Through the last 2,000 years, God’s favor is with the obedient Gentiles, and they are to be a witness by their testimony in word and deed to the Jewish people and all nations (Romans 15:18, Titus 2:12).
The New Testament Gentile church has the knowledge of Jesus and His gift of forgiveness for salvation. The term salvation
or saved
means people are saved from being separated from God and sent to hell. Any person who tells God he accepts that Jesus took the punishment, on the cross, for his sins (disobedience) and obeys God’s commandments, will live with God when he dies (Mt.7:21, 1Timothy (Tim.) 4:16, John 14:6,15,16). We need to understand sin is a serious matter to God, but no one should feel their sin is too great to be forgiven. His trait for justice must be satisfied, and in His goodness to us, He took the punishment for us. God cannot rule effectively if people do not believe what He says, and the Bible has all the wisdom we need to live in this life. Everyone makes bad choices, and life’s journey teaches us valuable lessons. When we accept Jesus as our Lord, we begin a process of living a satisfying life by learning how to overcome being self-centered, and to love God and others through His precepts. The commandments are the way of true happiness, if only we would do them.
The time of the Church age (called a mystery) has been fulfilled, partly because there are some false
