This book is intended to be a tutorial for those persons involved in alternative lifestyles involving dominant men and submissive women. Part of this lifestyle is sexual, though the bulk of it is how you live your everyday life, from the time you open your eyes in the morning, to the time they close again at night. Specifically, it will teach masters and submissives on how to train and become a human cow, or hucow as they are known. However, there is a lot of information presented that will also be useful for adult breast feeders, breast fetishists, lactation lovers, and BDSM practitioners.

This book also emphasizes safety, consent, and legal aspects of these relationships. Please pay close attention to these sections. You and your hucow will want to remain safe, and stay within the parameters of the law.

The book will also clear up any misinformation that has been presented online and on forums about the hucow lifestyle, inducing lactation, and medical considerations. These methods are safe, effective, and sustainable.

Traditionally speaking, the master is a biological man, and the hucow is a biological woman. For simplicity’s sake, I will be referring to master and hucow as such, using he and she pronouns. However, the master and hucow can be of any gender, and the hucow may or may not lactate. If you are a trans woman who wants a cis-man or trans man as a hucow, there's nothing stopping you! Dominants and submissives come in all genders. The variations are as infinite as there are people in the world, and desires to be fulfilled.

I have many years of experience as a dominant master, with a well-rounded knowledge regarding hucows, adult breastfeeding, inducing lactation, bondage, Domination/submission, Master/slave, Daddy/little relationships, and more. I am also a health care professional with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in physiology, and therefore a well-rounded knowledge of the human body.

Chapter 1: Introduction

What is a hucow? The term hucow is a portmanteau of the two words human and cow. For example, the term cosplay is a portmanteau of the words costume and play. Alphanumeric combines the two words alphabetic and numeric. Brunch combines breakfast and lunch, and so on. For the purpose of this book, the term hucow combines the two words human and cow, therefore a hucow is a human cow. It is a sub-genre of BDSM (Bondage, Domination/Submission, Sado-Masochism) and of consensual Master/slave relationships. The hucow takes her role as slave one step further, however- she wants not only to be owned property, but to be treated like livestock and to provide milk for her master.

The word can be pronounced as Hew-cow (emphasizing the human aspect of the word), or as Hoo-cow, simply because hoo rhymes with moo, and therefore sounds similar to moo-cow. I personally prefer to use the pronunciation, hoo-cow, but either is acceptable, especially as it is not a word yet found in standard dictionaries.

Urbandictionary.com defines the word as, a woman who chooses to be objectified for her large mammaries and ability to lactate constantly. This is a rather simplistic definition, and does not take into account the depth of meaning, commitment, and intimacy that the hucow and her owner enjoy. It’s rather like pornography, which shows a two-minute close-up clip of a penis sliding into a vagina, meant to satisfy temporary, instant sexual gratification, and does not portray what the master and hucow truly mean to each other- the dedication, the training, the love, the mutual co-dependency. Being a hucow means so much more than simply getting on all fours to be milked and bred by her master. It is the ultimate form of submission, of letting go of that safe and familiar rope that keeps us bound to social convention, and free-falling into a depth of intimacy and desire that one can only dream about.

It is not uncommon for submissive persons to desire to be treated like an animal. They take on the persona of dogs and cats who are pets to their masters, or as livestock such as pigs or ponies, and, in the case of the hucow, a dairy cow. The hucow is a special type of livestock however, because not only is she owned, trained, and bred, but she is also milked. Nearly anyone can be owned, trained, and bred, but not everyone can lactate. It takes an immense amount of dedication to induce lactation. In ascending order of specialization, we can see that a woman who desires to become a hucow, must go through extensive training to achieve her goals, from submissive, to slave, to pet or livestock, and finally to hucow. If you imagine the spectrum of all women as an inverted triangle, with all the women in the world along the top edge, the hucow is at the point balancing at the bottom in the hierarchy as the lowest form of slave. Ironically, this is a point of great pride for her, setting her apart from all other women.

In addition to being milked and bred, the hucow may enjoy being punished, degraded, humiliated, objectified, and dehumanized. It is an enduring, persistent, illogical, and deeply entrenched fantasy common to a great many women.

As mentioned in the preface, typically, by definition, the farmer/owner/master will be a dominant biological male, and the hucow/property/slave will be a submissive biological female, as she should be able to lactate and become impregnated if the farmer so desires. This is not engraved in stone however, as persons of any gender or age can live this lifestyle from either side of the slash, whether or not you have breasts and make milk, and irrespective of your reproductive status. Many people desire to be a hucow without lactation and breeding simply for the degradation aspect of being treated like a cow. Simply put, if you identify as a hucow, then you are one, whether you have breasts, a vagina, ovaries, and a uterus or not, and you will be able to find a master or mistress to own you.

Some hucows will want the full experience- being a stupid and mindless animal, collared and controlled, milked and bred, punished and dehumanized, and being stabled in a barn. Others simply want occasional play time as a hucow for sexual gratification, then be able go back to their normal lives. This book is meant for all levels of commitment.

Many of the chapters will also be applicable for anyone who wishes to induce lactation for any other reason, such as milk maids, dairy queens, wet nurses, breast fetishists, couples who enjoy ANR/ABF (Adult Nursing Relationships/Adult Breast Feeding), or women who simply like the look and feel of large, full breasts filled with milk.

The book goes into great detail on how to train your hucow, how to induce lactation and resolve lactation problems, how the breast works, what breast milk is composed of, and much more. Some of the chapters in this book are pedantic and scientific, but I would be remiss in not including the information in a complete handbook. Additionally, some of the chapters, such as the one on breast fetishes, are only peripherally related to the hucow genre, but are still applicable, since the udder (breast) is a central fetish in this paraphilia. If the information in a particular chapter doesn’t interest you, simply skip that chapter and continue.

Adult humans have been drinking milk from the breast ever since Eve nursed Adam in the Garden of Eden. That is a tongue in cheek statement, but it is certain that men have been milking women since the dawn of mankind. It is an intimate, comforting act in which the woman finds pleasure in submitting and giving of herself to her man. Breast milk is nutritious, warm, sweet, and consoling. It is a source of food for everyone, not just babies. It can be made into cheese, butter, yogurt, and every other form of dairy product. It induces pleasure and sleep. I remember my great-grandmother giving me a glass of warm milk before bed as a child. It always put me right to sleep. She knew that it simulated milk from the breast and the effect it would have on me. That’s old school knowledge. She couldn’t read or write, but she had a wise woman’s understanding of people.

Chapter 2: Legal, Safety, and Health Concerns

Good common sense and personal respect for the lifestyle demands that I put this chapter up front. Before doing anything, BE SAFE FIRST! The BDSM mantra to be safe, sane, and consensual should guide all your activities.

The most important thing to remember is that effective, honest, and complete communication between the farmer and his cow is of the utmost importance before engaging in any of these practices. Consent must be obtained from the hucow, and her limits clearly delineated. As the hucow, you must communicate your desires well, and take steps to protect yourself from unwanted abuse. As the farmer, you need to protect yourself against potential criminal charges from an embittered, disgruntled, or vindictive slave. Charges against you could include anything from assault, battery, kidnapping, sexual abuse, rape, kidnapping and confinement, emotional damage, and more. This statement is meant to give you pause, as there are numerous court cases documented of BDSM relationships gone awry, with the defendant, even if well-intentioned and having full consent from his slave, ending up with serious jail time.

Your Farmer/hucow relationship might or might not be a legal one. BDSM relationships are not legal in many countries, regardless of consent. Laws vary by country, state, and province, so it is incumbent upon the owner to become familiar with your local laws before engaging in your relationship. If it is legal, it is only because it is mutually consensual. In true slavery, the slave has few to no rights. Among certain cultures in the past, the master could even kill his slave if he so wished, since she was considered no more than livestock, with the only repercussion being a loss of labor and his financial interest in the slave. Thankfully, true slavery has been outlawed throughout the world. In modern consensual slavery, the slave has rights. If you mistreat her, or violate her consent and/or limits, be mindful that she can report you to the police. You don't want that knock on your door.  

Following are some legal aspects in Master/slave relationships to consider:

Consent. Consent is a basic modern core human value. The law tells us that persons under a certain age cannot consent to sex or sex play with an adult. In the United States, a minor is defined as anyone under the age of eighteen. Adults should not, under any circumstances, engage in any of the practices described in this book with a minor, as legally defined in your particular country. Very serious criminal charges await you if you do, regardless of the minor’s desires and fantasies.

The hucow fetish is a sub-genre of BDSM (Bondage, Domination/submission, Sado-masochism).
