I dedicate this book to Mr. and Mrs. Sokeipiriala Gaibo. Thank you for parenting me in the way of Christ and showing me what it means to be Christ-like. I appreciate you both; God bless you.
Foreword
It has been my pleasure and privilege to have known Favour Gaibo since she was a freshman at the University of Prince Edward Island. Since she came to Charlottetown PE and joined the church, I have watched her grow in her relationship with the Man Christ Jesus and transform by becoming confident and embracing the purpose of God over her life.
This well-cultivated, eloquent, and exhilarating work gets to heart the most important subject in the life of young adults in the world where social media has the greatest influence in shaping the lives of many.
Finding your identity is a journey and not a destination, in this book, Favour shares some great insight as the Holy Spirit has taught her and some of her personal journey experience in finding help.
In the Bible the life experience of some prophets became a message to their generation similarly this exceptional work by Favour Gaibo is a message to our generation, this is indispensable reading.
The author's approach to this timely and critical issue brings a fresh breath, captivates the heart, engages the mind and inspires the spirit of the reader.
I highly recommend Help Me Find My Identity - The Cry of a Young Adult.
It is definitely Holy Spirit-inspired and full of Wisdom that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.

Preface
We can all agree that we came onto this earth without training or knowledge of our left from our right; we had to figure things out ourselves. I believe our different environments and circumstances shape how we view the world, which sometimes eventually forms our character, dreams or what we might call our identity.
For example, someone who struggled for food and other basic needs through the primary stage of life can come off as assertive or be very parsimonious. Alternatively, they can decide never to see anyone else struggle the same way they did and start a foundation. That is just one example, but the point is that our environment, one way or the other, affects us and how we view ourselves. It takes a child from an abusive home to live in a peaceful environment before they can view love from people as something good and not strange. And because most people find themselves in environments they do not choose, they tend to take up a wrong identity. Hence my writing of this book. When you identify who God has made you to be, which is truly who you are, you can pass through the most challenging circumstances in life without allowing that environment to leave its negative aura on you. Knowing who you are (identity) is the foundation for everything in life; once you do, you will not be shaken by anything (Matthew 7:24-27).
Matthew 7:24-27
"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrent came, and then the winds blew and slammed against that house, yet it did not fall because it had been founded on the rock.
King David in the Bible grew up without love and care, He only had His God, and that was all he needed to know how to love people and know good from evil. His bad environment did not leave a negative aura on him because He knew his identity was in His God.
By the grace of God, this book will guide you on how to build a strong foundation which
