About this ebook
Hello, young reader. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live closer to the ground than normal people do? To have everything in your world lower and underground than usual, from your houses and furniture to your cars and bikes? To learn to adapt to your environment, and to be happy and content for living so close to the ground?
Well, that is exactly how the people of Lower lived. Lower was a faraway land where a community of small people had a special bond with the earth. They loved to plant and harvest crops, to dig and build tunnels, to explore and discover new things. They believed that the earth was their friend and home, and so they respected and cared for it passionately.
But not all the people of Lower were the same. A new generation of Lower kids were a little different from their parents, who were especially curious and adventurous and liked to play and learn in the fields and forests, in the deserts and rivers, and in the jungles and tunnels. They were eager to make friends with the animals and insects, and to create and invent new games and toys. They had a lot of fun and joy in their everyday lives.
But one day, a group of these kids went on a special expedition to see what was beyond their world and what was up in the sky. They had heard stories from their elders about the stars and the moon, the clouds and the rainbow, but they had never seen them for themselves due to being so far away from them. They chose a date for their trip and that day they packed some food and water, some tools and ropes, some books and maps; some even took their bikes and helmets, as well as backpacks and jackets. After saying goodbye to their parents and friends, they set off on their long adventure to explore the different environments of the earth.
This is the story of their journey, their discoveries, their challenges, their friendships, their lessons, and their dreams. This is the story of Lower: The Land of Low People. While it's designed to be engaging, coherent, humorous, and captivating to you, dear young reader, the tale also imparts valuable lessons. So, sit back and ENJOY!

A Lifetime of Tales from the kids’ story guru
INTRODUCTION
In a distant land, there existed a unique community known as Lower, where everything was unusually close to the ground. The houses were low-set, the furniture was low-lying; certain tools were low-hanging, and even the bicycles were low-ridden. The inhabitants of Lower, who referred to themselves as Lowerians, also stood very low due to their small size. These people had a deep affection for the earth and were committed to its preservation. Lowerians were careful not to waste resources or contribute to pollution. They practised reusing and recycling wherever possible, treating the earth with the respect and care it deserved as their home; their mother.
The Lowerians led simple, peaceful lives, but they were not without a sense of curiosity and a thirst for adventure. They took pleasure in planting and harvesting crops, constructing and navigating tunnels, and discovering new things. The sky, a sight they could not fully appreciate from their low vantage point, particularly piqued their interest. They had heard tales from their ancestors about the stars, the moon, the clouds, and the rainbows, but they longed to witness these wonders firsthand. So, one day, a group of Lowerian children, driven by their shared curiosity, embarked on an adventure to see the sky. These four friends, Lila, Lenny, Lulu, and Lyle, later grew up together, sharing many interests.
Four Lowerian children named Lila, Lenny, Lulu, and Lyle were the ones who decided to go on the adventure. These four had grown up together and shared many interests.
Lila, the leader of the group, was a brave and adventurous girl with long brown hair and green eyes. She loved to read and learn new things, and she always had a plan and a map ready for every situation.
Lenny, the joker of the group, was a friendly and playful boy with short blond hair and blue eyes. He loved to make people laugh, and he always had a joke or a trick ready to lighten the mood.
Lulu, the artist of the group, was a gentle and imaginative girl with curly red hair and brown eyes. She loved to draw and sing, and she always had a sketchbook and a song ready for every mood.
Lyle, the engineer of the group, was a clever and practical boy with black hair and glasses. He loved to build things and solve problems, and he always had a tool and a solution ready for every challenge.
The friends agreed on a date for their trip and prepared everything they needed. They packed food and water, tools and ropes, books and maps, compasses and torches. Some of them also brought along their low-ridden bikes and helmets, as well as backpacks and jackets. After telling their parents and friends about their adventure and promising to return soon, they set off on their journey to see the sky.
Join them to see how they got exploring various parts of the world, and see what you can learn from their adventure.
