A Village in the Shadows
The sun was setting behind the tall tree peaks that surrounded the peaceful village of Domanesth, painting the sky with golden and orange hues. The last glimmer of daylight faded, and shadows began to stretch across the small valley where the village nestled. The ever-present mist in Domanesth began to creep through the cobblestone streets.
Domanesth, an isolated corner amidst dense forests, seemed to have been trapped in time. Its stone streets were lined with wooden houses, their sloping roofs giving them a charming yet mysterious appearance. The village was miles away from the main trade routes, allowing its unique atmosphere and character to remain unchanged by the passage of time.
Dusk in Domanesth was a special event. With the onset of darkness, an eerie atmosphere enveloped the place. The mist, rising from the river that snaked around the village, slithered into the streets, lending an ethereal look to the buildings. The lampposts flickered and cast intermittent lights, creating shadows that played with the imagination of the residents.
Legend had it that Domanesth had a long history of mysterious rituals and pacts with the supernatural. The village's elders still
