Chapter 1: The Dark Cliff

After a long journey, William, Alice, and Alexander arrive at the dark village of Ostroford. From a distance, they spot the imposing silhouette of the ancient castle called The Cliff, majestically perched on a hill covered in dense fog. The village appears to be engulfed in perpetual twilight, and an unsettling sense of mystery grips them as they approach the castle.

At the main entrance, Liam, the castle's caretaker, greets them with a somber look. Welcome to The Cliff ', he says in a deep voice. I hope you are prepared for whatever you may encounter inside. This mansion has a turbulent history, and strange events frequently occur.

Despite Liam's warnings, William and Alice can't resist the fascination they feel for the beauty and charm of the castle. However, Alexander, Alice's son, remains hesitant and has an unsettling feeling about the place.

During the first few days, things seemed to proceed normally. Emma, the housekeeper, was kind and helpful, but her face reflected the burden of the mansion's secrets. Elsa, Alexander's girlfriend, was also intrigued by the castle's history, but couldn't shake an unexplainable sense of unease.

One night, while enjoying dinner in the candlelit dining room, a door slammed shut upstairs, breaking the silence of the evening. Everyone jumped, and Liam exchanged a concerned look with Emma. I'm sorry, folks, this is a common occurrence at The Cliff , Liam said, trying to downplay the incident. But please, don't let it ruin your stay.

The atmosphere in the mansion grew more tense, and each family member began experiencing eerie sensations and nightmares during the night.

Wilma, a distant relative of the family, decided to make a surprise visit to see the castle. From the moment she set foot in The Cliff, she realized that something was amiss. Wilma's presence triggered even more unsettling events, such as inaudible whispers and cold gusts of wind following her through the halls.

In an attempt to unravel the mystery behind the supernatural events, Liam shared with the family the dark history of the castle. Centuries ago, a tragic romance unfolded at The Cliff, ending in forbidden love that unleashed a series of supernatural events. Since then, the spirits of the lost lovers seemed to wander the halls in search of peace.
