Return to Nisselbachk
The sunset painted the skies in fiery hues, reflecting its crimson strokes on the undulating wheat fields surrounding Nisselbachk. A wintry, silent air meandered through the ancient buildings, whispering forgotten tales among worn stones and tiles darkened by time.
Christal stepped off the train with a mix of nostalgia and fear. Her feet touched the platform, feeling the distant echo of a life she once knew. Before her stood the town she had once called home, now shrouded in a cloak of mystery.
The last rays of the sun retreated behind the hills, casting long shadows on the cobbled streets. Twilight faded quickly, giving way to darkness that began to engulf Nisselbachk, as if the town itself feared what the night might bring. The flickering lights of the houses couldn't dispel the feeling of lurking shadows sliding through narrow alleyways.
With each step, the young journalist could sense
