      I tire, my Lord, I spit, I tried,

      I shed the blood of innocents no more.

      They drop metal rocks that split the Earth to pieces at its core.

      My sword, I carry no more.

      I tire, my Lord, my heart hurts to see the pain,

      Of the vessels that cry from their very veins.

      I close my eyes, I can't no more.

      I need is rest, from all this rain,

      From all of grief's rivers, currents that beg for mercy's reign.

      Oh, Lord, I'm weary from this endless fight,

      My soul is heavy, my spirit's flight,

      Is dimmed by the darkness that surrounds me like endless night.
