Time Vs Money - STEVE BRIAN

    INTRODUCTION

    Achieving More in Less Time

Wilferd A. Peterson once said that success is concentrating all of your strength on the goal you have a burning desire to pursue.

I'm grateful that you read this book. I am aware of your hectic schedule, and you hardly ever have time to read a book on time management. I can assure you that the ideas, methods, strategies, and approaches you will discover in the pages that follow will help you accomplish more tasks more quickly than you have in the past. You may significantly raise the quality of your life in every aspect by mastering and putting these effective, useful tactics into practice.

The greatest minds in history have devoted their lives to figuring out how to live happy lives in response to the question, How shall we live? The pleasure principle," or the continual pursuit of pleasure and positive emotions, is the fundamental driving force behind human behavior, according to Sigmund Freud, the father of contemporary psychology.

All of us want to be happy in the end. Most of our lives are spent trying to figure out what combination of relationships, jobs, money, sports, hobbies, and other activities, together with lifestyle components, will ultimately provide us the inner contentment and well-being we desire. The goal of this time management book is to provide you with hundreds of useful ideas that you can implement right away to arrange your life and activities and get more of the things you need and require to attain personal fulfillment.

    Time Management Devices

You can use time management as a tool to create a fantastic life that is full of high achievement and a deep sense of fulfillment and achievement. You can think of time management as a means of transportation that gets you from one place to another. When properly applied, time management can be viewed as a collection of self-disciplines that will allow you to be, have, and do anything you need in order to attain the triumphs in life that bring you the most joy and happiness.

This book, which draws from my 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, management, and consulting in over 500 corporations, is the culmination of more than 20 years of research and teaching in the field of personal effectiveness.

    The Shared Factor of Achievement

It became increasingly clear to me as I examined success and successful people that they all shared a single characteristic. They all valued their time extremely highly and were always trying to get more efficient and well-organized.

Eventually, I realized that having strong time management abilities is a must for success. A happy, satisfied individual whose life is in chaos and disarray is impossible to comprehend. The most important thing I learned was that learning time management skills also helps you build many other habits that will help you succeed in many areas of your life and reach great success.

Realizing that time management is actually life management is the first step towards mastering effective time management techniques. It's how you care for your most valuable possession. Do you enjoy life? As Benjamin Franklin once remarked? Then, don't waste time, as it is the essence of existence.

You gain total control of your destiny and concurrently master your life as you learn to master your time.

    A Guide to Excellent Performance

With the help of this book, you will acquire all the necessary tools to excel at time management in both your personal and professional life. Consider how you could use these concepts right now as you read. Make notes and highlight important points. Execute the practical tasks found at the conclusion of every chapter. If you want to commit these concepts to memory and absorb them for good, be ready to read and reread this book several times.

Repetition spaced out is crucial for learning.

You will be well-positioned for a lifetime of high accomplishment and enhanced personal efficiency once you have mastered these talents. You'll change into a new person with a fresh perspective on life. You'll do more in less time than you ever would have imagined. You're going to take charge of your life.

One's ability to solve a problem multiplies tremendously when every physical and mental resource is focused, said Norman Vincent Peale.

CHAPTER 1: THE STUDY OF TIME MANAGEMENT PSYCHOLOGY

THE LIMIT IS IN THE imagination. You can accomplish anything as long as your mind can visualize it and you have complete faith in your ability to succeed.

    (The Schwarzenegger Arnold)

Your external life is often a reflection of your inside life, according to the Law of Correspondence. You can see yourself everywhere. You can see reflections of yourself everywhere you turn. You see the world from within, not as it is outside of you. You have to change what's happening inside of you if you want to alter the relationships, outcomes, and rewards that are happening around you. Luckily, this is the only area of your life that you are totally in charge of.

    The Origin of Achievement

Desire is the first step in mastering time management. Most people believe they could manage their time far more effectively than they already do. Individuals repeatedly make the commitment to take time management seriously by improving their focus, prioritizing their tasks, and conquering their tendency to put things off. They hope to take time management seriously in the future, but alas, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

The secret to motivation is motive. You need to be highly motivated by the advantages you believe you will experience in order to build a strong enough desire to grow Time Power. To overcome the inherent inertia that keeps you doing things the same old way, you must desire the results badly enough. Here are four solid arguments for putting the lessons from this book into practice.

    1. Get Two More Hours Every Day

Putting what you learn in this book into practice will give you at least two more productive hours each day. Just reflect! If you were given an extra two hours each day to work, what could you achieve? Which tasks could you initiate and finish? Which novels are you able to write and publish? Which subjects are you capable of mastering? If you had an additional two hours to dedicate to doing high-value projects, what could you achieve?

Ten additional hours per week are obtained by multiplying two extra hours per day by five days per week. You would have 500 more productive hours annually if you multiplied ten extra hours each week by 50 weeks in a year. More than twelve 40-hour work weeks, or three more months of productive work time annually, can be achieved with 500 hours.

You could change both your personal and professional lives if you could add two productive hours to your day. Over the next two to three years, you may accomplish all of your goals, quadruple your salary, and finally become wealthy, if not financially independent.

    2. Boost Your Output and Productivity

Over the following year, there will be a minimum 25% improvement in your revenue, performance, and productivity. Adding two more hours to your daily eight-hour workday is equivalent to a twenty-five percent rise.

The compensation you receive today for the work you do today is what you are earning. You will eventually have to earn and be paid 25% more if you raise your productivity by 25% or more. Furthermore, if your current employer is unwilling to compensate you for better work, another employer will be happy to pay you more for your capacity to achieve higher quality outcomes.

    3. Boost Your Feeling of Authority

As you put these concepts into practice, you'll feel less stressed and more energized. You'll feel more in charge of both your personal and professional lives. You'll experience a sense of empowerment and mastery over your own life. You'll experience an overall increase in positivity and strength in your life.

Psychologists have studied Locus of Control extensively over the years and have found that you have a internal locus of control, which is the degree to which you feel in control of your life and feel good about yourself and your life. When you have an internal locus of control, you believe you are in charge of your life, that you are accountable for your choices and the results of those choices, and that you are in charge of your actions.

The main creative force in your own life is you.

Psychologists have also discovered that negative, angry, and frequently depressed feelings result from having an external locus of control, which is the belief that events and people outside of oneself—such as your family, your health, your work, or some other factor—make you feel powerless and control less. You'll experience frustration and an inability to adapt. You'll grow what's known as

When you feel that you are a prisoner of outside forces, you have learned helplessness and consider yourself more of a creature of circumstances than a creator of circumstances.

You consider yourself to be a victim a lot.

Organize Your Life and Your Time.

Improving your time and life management skills is essential to building a more robust internal locus of control. You'll feel happier and more assured as you get better at managing your time. Your sense of personal strength will be stronger. You'll have a sense of control over your own fate. There will be an increase in your sense of wellbeing. You'll have greater optimism and warmth.

    4. A Greater Amount of Family Time

As you gain control over your life and time, you will find that you have more time for your loved ones and yourself. More time will be available for you to spend with friends, unwind, pursue personal and professional growth, and engage in other activities.

Gaining two extra hours a day by mastering time management can allow you to accomplish more in life, such as finishing a college degree, writing a book, starting a business, or running a marathon. You may start moving forward in your life and profession more quickly than you ever would have imagined if you had two extra hours
