Turn each page,
And you will see
A different day,
A different me.
Must Have
Why don’t we get the things
For which we pray and plead?
We know what we want,
But God knows what we need.
‘Not my will, but Thy will’.
Bitter Sweet

The sky’s not blue,
The flowers seem sad,
And I am too.
When love goes right,
I’m happy ’til
The ‘green-eyed monster’
Makes me ill.
So if that’s what
It’s all about,
I think I’d rather do
Without.
No Excuses
One day I learnt on TV,
On open University,
Some folk can stuff and stay thin,
Whilst ‘pickers’ just keep expanding.
It’s metabolism deciding our fate,
If we stay slim or put on
