About this ebook

Kevin Wright has it all—a tech empire worth billions and a heart dedicated to his son, Logan. But wealth cannot mend the scars left by a bitter past, nor can it ease Logan's struggle with cerebral palsy. Bound by caution, Kelvin has built an impenetrable fortress around their lives, a fortress that is threatened when Catherine Stone arrives.

As a devoted nurse, Catherine is no stranger to life's challenges. She battles her own demons while taking good care of Logan. A romantic relationship develops between Catherine and Kelvin, but misunderstanding and past hurt complicate their journey. Can they move past the hurdles and find the courage to love, not just for Logan's sake, but for their own?

Billionaire's Bed is a steamy tale of resilience, redemption, and love.

The sound of typing drifted throughout the spacious study as Kevin Wright, tech mogul, studied the fluctuating numbers on his monitor. With a face like a Greek god and expansive shoulders filling out his tailored suit, he looked every bit the part of a successful businessman.

His fingers hovered over the keyboard and his attention drifted away from the screen. A soft sigh escaped him and his thoughts moved towards his son, Logan.

Sir, it’s almost time for Logan’s physical therapy. Mrs. Peterson wanted to talk to you, said James, Kevin’s estate manager, peeping through the half-opened door.

Kevin glanced at his platinum watch. It was almost four. OK, James, he said. I am coming with you.

In a room filled with toys and children’s books, sat Logan, whose sparkling green eyes mirrored his father’s. Cerebral palsy had painted its signature across Logan's life in strokes both broad and fine. His legs, refusing to obey the orders sent down from his brain, remained immobile. He had never felt the thrill of a sprint in the wind, the joy of a ball game, or the pleasure of playing in a park. His titanium wheelchair was an extension of him, a necessary contraption that offered him the mobility that his legs could not.

Logan's hands were coiled in a persistent grasp, his fingers curled inward, tightly clutching at his palm. Simple tasks, like grasping a cup of hot cocoa or clutching a pen, were monumental undertakings for him. Eating was a battle in itself, the coordination between his brain and the muscles involved in swallowing often disjointed.

Logan's nurse, Mrs. Peterson, an elderly woman with a kind smile, was at his side. She caught Kevin's questioning glance as he entered.

Hello, Mr. Wright, she said, her voice quivering. I have something to tell you.

Kevin’s heart sank. In Mrs. Peterson's eyes, he saw the resignation that could only mean one thing. She was leaving. Hi, Mrs. Peterson, he said.

I’m retiring, Mr. Wright. My old bones... Mrs. Peterson's voice faltered as she gestured vaguely at her arthritic hands.

I understand, Mrs. Peterson. Kevin nodded, a mixture of gratitude and apprehension crossing his mind. When will be your last day here?

    Next Friday.

That’s fine. We’ll miss you, Kevin said.

Logan's eyes filled with tears. You're leaving, Mrs. Peterson?

    Mrs. Peterson held
