    CHAPTER 1

    God’s Plan

For I know the plans I have for you,

declares the LORD, plans to prosper

you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope

    and a future.

    Jeremiah 29:11

God’s plan for our lives is far greater than what the eyes can see. What we see with our natural eye isn’t compared to anything if we see what God has planned for us if we operate with our spiritual eye. He knew the plans He had for our lives before He formed us in our mother’s wombs. Do not settle for mediocre, but plan big because what He has planned for you is much bigger than what the eyes can see. He said if you just have faith the size of a mustard seed and tell the mountain to move that is between you and what is keeping you from making that step to move, that mountain will be moved. We all know faith without works is dead. When you make one step for the plans God has for your life, God will guide you to make the rest. He said to seek ye first the Kingdom of heaven and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Oftentimes we set limits on what we think God can do or we set limits on our life because of fear, but we all know that the spirit of fear stops you; God does not operate with the spirit of fear. All God wants us to do is stop trying to handle the situation ourselves but allow His will to be done in our lives. He said to release your burdens upon hHim because He cares for you. He never said that we weren’t going to go through trials and tribulations, but to allow Him to carry our burdens because His yoke is easy to bear. If you remember the story about the woman with the issue of blood who suffered for twelve long years and spent all her earnings going from doctor to doctor and when she had spent all of her money, she realized that nothing helped and she had nothing left, but she heard that Jesus was passing by. She knew that this was her last chance and opportunity to be healed, but it should have been her first option. But because of her faith in Jesus and touching the fringe of His garment she was instantly healed. If only we could trust Jesus the first time with our life issues, it will save us a lot of trouble. If the lady with the issue of blood had allowed fear or the doubters in the crowd to stop her from reaching Jesus, she would have never been healed. Sometimes we have to remember that everyone is not going to be happy for you or to cheer for you along the way and where God is taking you; everyone can’t go with you on your journey. We have to remember the promise God made to us for our lives and remember trials come to make you stronger, not to break you. If you remember, the birthing process can be painful, but it is necessary to get where you need to be at the end of the process. Do not allow the pain to put fear in you, but to remember the destiny God has placed in your life and the gift He is birthing inside of you. Remember the saying, If you let the devil ride, he will want to drive; do not allow the devil to take control of your thoughts, but to seek God daily and allow His will to be done in your life.
