About This Book
You know when you have those moments where everything is funny and makes you laugh out loud? Rhonda and Sharon had two hours of those moments flying back to Jacksonville, Florida after attending a Labor Day weekend conference in Dallas, Texas. It was just one-line after another that kept cracking them up. We knew those one-liners were good when the gal sitting next to Sharon was trying, discreetly, to keep from laughing out loud. She failed.
Since Rhonda is a CPA and Sharon is somewhat of a clueless client, they thought if they could marry clueless clients and Certified Public Accountants together in a humorous book it would make the world a better place. Well, at least, for CPAs. Clients, eh, little to no hope for them. They understand so little, sigh.
Laugh out loud at the funny things clients do to their CPAs.

Chapter 1
CPAs are the Life of the Party
Yes, the world often mistakenly views us as dull, boring, uninspired, and without a sense of humor. They are wrong! We can be very clever.
When one of those know-it-alls approaches and asks why you are a CPA, here are some great lines guaranteed to make them laugh…or drift away where you can enjoy the party in your own way.
I'm a CPA because I can calculate the exact tip for the pizza delivery guy without breaking a sweat. The party would be incomplete without my tip wisdom!
I became a CPA so I could impress people with my 'party tricks' like balancing the snack budget and estimating the total calories in that cheese dip.
Being a CPA means I have the ultimate party conversation starter: 'Let me tell you about the time I found a typo in the tax code...'
I'm a CPA because I know how to turn a wild night into a tax-deductible business expense. Who's up for a 'strategic networking event'?
I became a CPA to ensure that at every party, there's someone who can count to three before taking a shot.
As a CPA, I can spot financial red flags from a mile away, which is why I'm the designated 'party crasher detector.'
I'm a CPA because I can turn any party game into a financial competition. Who's up for 'Monopoly: Real Life Edition'?
I became a CPA because I wanted a valid reason to wear my 'CPA-themed' party hat, complete with tiny calculators and dollar signs.
As a CPA, I'm an expert at finding the hidden costs of a party. Hint: It's usually in the form of late-night pizza deliveries.
I'm a CPA because I can analyze the party budget and tell you whether we should upgrade from chips and dip to caviar and champagne!
I'm a CPA because I love telling people I'm a Certified Party Animal!
Chapter 2
Why I am a CPA
Does it annoy you as much as it does me when someone asks why am I a CPA? Do they honestly think I’m a special kind of stupid and can’t do anything else? Did their mama drop them on their little pointy heads when they were little? Honestly, what’s wrong with these people?
