About this ebook

Allied pilots noticed strange light phenomena over the European battlefield. These unidentified flying objects were called foo fighters. But what could be behind the mysterious fireballs? The Thule Society and the Vril Society, as well as the Ahnenerbe, played a significant role in the Third Empire. What consideration led to the creation of these organizations? And what role did they play in the rise of the Nazis to power? The deployment of the Wunderwaffe or the miracle weapon, could have decided the outcome of the World War II. But what was the mysterious Wunderwaffe? Maybe it covers the atomic bomb or some other weapon? Between the two world wars, the plan for the first space station orbiting the earth was already born. Would Nazi scientists have been able to carry out this massive project? And why would they want to build a space station? The mysterious Die Glocke or Bell is an anti-gravity device that may have been part of a propulsion system. Did this strange machine really exist and what did the Nazis intend to use it for? The Ahnenerbe, or paranormal division of the SS, launched numerous expeditions to ancient archeological sites around the world. To places as far away as Antarctica. But why were the Nazis interested in Antarctica? What did they do on the ice continent? According to some, there is a hollow Earth that can be entered through the poles. Did the Nazis get in touch with this strange inner world? The story of the mystic Maria Orsic and the Vril ladies is about a cosmic relationship in which the Aldebaran beings and the Nazis made a deal. Perhaps they had something to do with an advanced cosmic civilization? And did the aliens share some of their knowledge with the Nazis to gain world domination? The Nazis researched the knowledge of the ancient Vedic civilization. Perhaps they reconstructed the machinery of a prehistoric advanced civilization? Or have they deciphered the technology of a crashed flying saucer? I am looking for answers to such interesting questions in my book.

Project Secret Sky - Duke Dyson

    PREFACE

    ––––––––

In my book, I deal with strange phenomena experienced during the World War II. I put the spotlight on the secret projects of the Third Reich. During the World War II, phenomena were observed that are still a source of speculation to this day. Allies found traces of secret projects.

But what was the Third Reich really?

And why was it called by that name?

The term Third Reich was first used by the German writer and cultural historian Arthur Wilhelm Ernst Victor Moeller van den Bruck (1876–1925).

Van den Bruck published Das Dritte Reich or The Third Reich (Digitalmanufaktur24, 2014) in 1923.

This work had a strong influence on German nationalism. Van den Bruck believed that the first was the Holy Roman Empire (962–1806), also known as the German Roman Empire. The second is the German Empire (1871–1918), and the third is the short-lived state called the Third Reich (1933–1945) by the Nazis. The period from 1918 to 1933 was called the Weimar Republic (1918–1933).

This is also significant because it was then that the basis of the ideology of the Third Reich was formed. Such a strong and all-pervading ideology that was able to throw not only Germany, but also the whole of Europe off balance. A wave of hatred and violence was unleashed, culminating in a mad war. However, humanity had to pay a huge price for this war.

In World War II, the incredible destruction and genocide knew no bounds. Humanity has sunk to unprecedented depths. Due to industrial-scale genocide and the use of weapons of mass destruction, humanity experienced its darkest hours.

The First and Second World Wars were children of the Industrial Revolution. The military side of industrialization took shape in these wars. Wars are not fought like they used to be. New technologies and deadly weapons were deployed. Finally, the most powerful destroyer appeared, casting its menacing shadow over the entire world. It was the atomic bomb.

With the advent of the atomic bomb, the world definitively and irreversibly entered another era. From here, there was no escaping back into history. The activities of the Nazis are usually identified with the Third Reich. And in many cases they still refer to this period. Adolf Hitler (1889–1945) banned the use of the term after a while. This does not change the fact that this historical period is known to posterity as the Third Reich.

The World War II brought many amazing innovations, partly because of the war situation.

    A question arises.

What caused this explosive technological development? Which surpassed the military developments of the World War I. At the end of World War II, Nazi scientists had already created the world's first jet fighter. Who knows what would have happened if the war had not ended in 1945?

The development of the atomic bomb is linked to a secret project of the Third Reich. The Nazis were only a hair's breadth away from the atomic bomb. And they certainly would have jumped at the chance to win the world war with the monstrous weapon. Fortunately, this did not happen. But the defeat of the Third Reich did not stop the United States of America.

Two nuclear warheads were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, where the destructive power of nuclear energy claimed huge human casualties. Some say this was done to avenge Pearl Harbor. However, others believed that this show of force was directed against the Soviet Union.

On August 6, 1945, a Little Boy-type uranium bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, and on August 9, 1945, a Fat Man-type plutonium-filled atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. Shortly before the end of World War II, fascist-ruled Japan requested uranium ore from the Third Reich to develop its own nuclear weapons against the Allies. The irony of fate is that the uranium ore shipment ended up in the United States of America.

According to some, this helped the Americans develop their first atomic bombs, two of which were dropped on Japan. The Nazi nuclear program ultimately served American power aspirations. The two atomic bombs dropped on Japan drew attention to the extent of the danger posed by nuclear weapons.

Especially if they fall into the wrong hands. Nuclear energy is a double-edged sword. It can also be used for useful things. Under controlled conditions, as in nuclear power plants. And it can be used as a weapon of destruction, which does not require the control of nuclear energy.

Humanity raised the stakes after World War II. During the Cold War, a much more dangerous arms race began. This threatened the outbreak of World War III. With a nuclear apocalypse. The threat posed by nuclear weapons did not disappear without a trace, but flared up again.

After the World War II, documents of secret research programs and expeditions were found. These did not always fit into the picture that the Allies had of the Nazis' activities. There have been various theories about the purposes of the secret projects. Some have become conspiracy theories.

Let's follow these strange theories and see what could be behind the events?

There were secret projects that turned out to be true, but only existed on the drawing board. The Allies discovered places where half-finished weapons were also found. It is not clear in the case of every project what kind of development it was. According to experts, certain weapons would have become inoperable in practice.

World War II officially began on September 1, 1939, when the Third Reich invaded Poland, and ended on May 8, 1945. In Asia, the situation was somewhat different. The first shots of the Second Sino-Japanese War were fired there on July 7, 1937, and on September 2, 1945, the fighting ended with Japan's unconditional surrender or capitulation. Two great powers, the Allies and the Axis powers, faced each other.

Towards the end of World War II, a number of horrific events occurred that set this war apart from previous armed conflicts. Such was the Holocaust and the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan. Genocide carried out on an industrial scale and the appearance of weapons of mass destruction put humanity in great danger.

War criminals were convicted in the Nuremberg and Tokyo Trials. Many of those who complied with the order tried to escape responsibility with excuses. The peace finally became final only on February 10, 1947, after the conclusion of the Paris Peace Treaties.

The war conflicts after the World War II were already taking place in the threatening shadow of the atomic bomb. The world was not what it used to be. The atomic bomb changed everything. The decades between 1914 and 1945, which include the two world wars, are also called the period of the Second Thirty Years' War. This phrase suggests that the two world wars were actually one, massive conflict.

The term is attributed to French President Charles André Joseph Marie de Gaulle (1890–1970), who declared in 1946 that their victory had ended the drama of the Thirty Years' War. This theory is also represented by Sigmund Neumann, who says that similar to the First Thirty Years' War (1618–1648), several smaller conflicts played a role in the two world wars of the 20th century.

The World War II raises big questions. It is not known what motivated the Nazis to embark on secret projects. Organizations were created whose tasks, according to some, were not closely related to the World War II. Rather, it may have been aimed at achieving an unknown goal. I have broadly summarized the best-known theories, some of which lead to the world of conspiracy theories. I tried to figure out how these theories could relate to flying saucers and the paleo-SETI hypothesis.

The essence of the paleo-SETI or paleocontact hypothesis is that in ancient times the Earth was visited by advanced beings who intervened in the development of civilization. This is called the ancient astronaut theory.

My book begins with the foo fighter phenomena of World War II. We then puts the research of the origin of the Aryans at the center of the investigation.

We then follow the secret societies of the Third Reich and the history of the Wunderwaffe. We make a small detour to Asia. We will see how the Nazi expeditions were connected to the weaponry of the ancient gods.

Then we follow the secrets of Antarctica and the Nazi missile program. Finally, the cases after the World War II are also tangentially reviewed. However, the period in question is already the Cold War era.

The world of conspiracy theories is a very swampy area. Therefore, I saw it as appropriate not to delve into these sometimes improbable theories, but to summarize what they have to say in an understandable way.

These theories have largely determined the way of thinking about UFO phenomena. There are opinions that a significant part of the later stories about extraterrestrials were based on these theories.

I was looking for the answer to how did the Nazi scientists gain an advantage over their competitors?

Where did they get the knowledge for their amazing developments?

Occultism is always present in connection with the Third Reich and the Nazis.

And the question is often asked, have they come into contact with the forces of other worlds?

    Or with an extraterrestrial intelligence?

Could there be a Hollow Earth inhabited by sentient beings who have interacted with those living on the surface?

Perhaps they were involved in the construction of flying saucers?

Or was something completely different behind the unidentified flying objects that appeared in World War II?

These are all interesting questions, and I will present possible answers in the following chapters. I present three theories that attempt to explain the mysterious developments of the Nazis. But not according to the traditional approach.

But based on their appearance in conspiracy theories. All three theories can be linked to the scientific development of the Third Reich. However, it cannot be ruled out that neither theory is correct. And you have to look elsewhere for answers. But what are these theories about?

According to the first, the Nazis deciphered the technology of an ancient advanced civilization, which they acquired during their various research expeditions. Sanskrit texts that speak of various miraculous structures used by the ancient gods play a major role in this theory. Forgotten technology found in ancient manuscripts was reconstructed to gain an advantage in World War II.

According to the second theory, the Nazis came into contact with extraterrestrials and the developments came from them. Because the aliens shared their technology with them. The theory is based on a relationship with an advanced cosmic civilization that influenced the Third Reich's weapons development projects.

According to the third theory, the technology of a crashed UFO has been deciphered. To gain an advantage over other countries. In this case, they wanted to utilize technology from a freak accident prior to the 1947 Roswell incident. Each theory has interesting ideas. About what was the secret of Nazi know-how. But it cannot be ruled out that German industrial espionage simply worked well in the decades between the two world wars.

I do not want to go into the various conspiracy theories and their detailed analysis, I will only present the most common cases. I will cover the various conspiracy theories as much as the given chapter justifies. I intend this book as a thought-provoking book for those interested in the secrets of the Third Reich. In the following chapters, I will try to present the interesting and thought-provoking cases that, in my opinion, may even be related to each other.

However, I leave it up to the reader to decide.

    CHAPTER 1

    ––––––––

The most interesting phenomena of the World War II were the foo fighters. These mysterious orbs of light have appeared several times in the European sky. No one knows exactly what these light phenomena were. But it is certain that they occasionally appeared on the European battlefield.

After the outbreak of the World War II, the Foo Fighter phenomenon was noticed as early as 1939 by Allied pilots, who made regular attacks on major German cities. Priority military targets included cities such as Berlin, Hamburg or Dresden, which were literally razed to the ground. The Allies initially suspected that the strange fireballs were controlled by the Nazis. That is, secret weapons that are not yet known.

The strange light phenomena were largely attributed to the Third Reich and were also observed over the countries of Western Europe. After a while, the foo fighters became so widespread that the Allies began to investigate the unusual background of the lights. They knew of hundreds of foo fighter incidents.

That's why they couldn't leave what happened without a word. Without exception, the investigations concluded that foo fighters were present everywhere in Europe where there was war. With rare exceptions, none have been reported to pose a serious threat to aircraft.

The light phenomena only followed Allied aircraft and showed no hostile behavior. However, their appearance filled the pilots with concern.

Given that they were at war with the Nazis, they had to fly over countries involved in the World War. When the foo fighters appeared, the machines' instruments got confused. This can be associated with the appearance of shiny objects. The Allies believed that the Nazis were behind it. It was then that the conspiracy theory of the time began to spread, according to which the Nazis were responsible for the inexplicable shiny objects.

The pilots suspected the deployment of a secret weapon that the Nazis wanted to use to confuse the Allies. They thought of psychological warfare, which they used against them. However, this theory has never been proven. It was unclear whether the Nazi military developments were unidentified flying objects following Allied aircraft or something else.

The term UFO was not known during the World War II. This term was officially used only later, in 1952, for unidentified flying objects. The foo fighter phenomenon corresponds to the later UFO classification. During World War II, they didn't have a word for an unidentified flying object, but the phenomenon was called a foo fighter or Feuerball. There is an interesting difference between World War I and World War II.

These bright objects appeared more frequently in the sky during World War II. Something must have happened between the two world wars that changed the behavior of unidentified flying objects. They appeared in much larger numbers on the battlefields of the World War II.

Between the two world wars, strange and inexplicable phenomena were observed. These did not attract attention until they appeared near military aircraft. In addition, incidents increased after the World War II. They didn't disappear, on the contrary. They became much more active. These later became the UFO waves. In other words, the Third Reich was not behind the foo fighter phenomenon.

William Bramley in his book The Gods of Eden (Avon, 1993) argues that extraterrestrial beings have always been present throughout human history and have continuously influenced the development of civilization.

According to Bramley, in addition to natural disasters, they also appeared in wars. The signs suggest that the war part of Bramley's theory may be true. Because many more UFO sightings are reported during wartime conflicts. Wars and epidemics have gone hand in hand throughout history.

According to the theory, the activity of extraterrestrial beings can be linked to the phenomenon of population manipulation with the help of war conflicts and epidemics. However, this is only one theory among many. It is far from certain that there is a connection between the two. Considering that epidemics did not always coincide with wars. This can be said about the World War I and the Spanish Flu.

But not anymore in the case of the World War II. According to some opinions, the appearance of unidentified flying objects is triggered by the endangerment of human civilization due to war conflicts. This is when the strange celestial phenomena appear, which used to be called miracles, and nowadays are called UFOs or, more recently, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena or UAP.

    A few questions arise.

Where do these strange things come from?

    And why do they appear?

Are they really concerned about the existence of human civilization?

Is that why they appear in the sky when an extraordinary event happens?

Or maybe they appear for a completely different reason?

They appear in the event of natural disasters and wars.

These objects are detected in conditions demanding human life. The best-known contemporary phenomena were the foo fighters. Foo fighters were generally attributed to the stress of war. Some believe that these phenomena were about much more. Allied soldiers were not hallucinating together, on the contrary. In 1939, the Allies believed that the Foo Fighter was an unknown aircraft. The new Messerschmitt ME-262 developed by the Nazis. The problem was that the Messerschmitt ME-262 was not deployed by the Luftwaffe until much later, in 1943. By this time it was already obvious that the Allies did not see the new development.

After all, it only existed on the drawing board back then. Regardless, there has long been a suspicion that Nazi development may be behind the mysterious flying lights that appeared in World War II. Every time the Allies encountered an unknown phenomenon, they began to suspect that they were up against a new development of the Third Reich.

The only question is, were the Nazis really involved?

Or maybe the presence of a foreign power was watching the events of the World War II?

Without pretense of completeness, let's take a look at some contemporary observations.

Jenny Randles and Peter Warrington's book Science and The UFOs (Wiley-Blackwell, 1991) state that on November 13, 1939, a gray bell-shaped object was seen hovering over a field near Brockworth, England. The unidentified flying object roared and had dark window-like openings on its sides.

A green light shone under the strange object. The object made no sound while in flight. In the Indian Ocean in 1941, the Polish merchant ship SS Pulaski was transporting British soldiers. From the deck of the ship, they noticed a sphere glowing with a strange greenish light.

One of the strange and inexplicable events of World War II was the event known as the Battle of Los Angeles or Great Los Angeles Air Raid. As the name suggests, this happened over the United States of America.

The Battle of Los Angeles took place on February 25, 1942. They opened fire because of a strange phenomenon, the true nature of which has never been revealed. World War II was in full swing when an unidentified flying object appeared over Los Angeles and chaos immediately erupted. However, the story has a non-negligible background, which makes it understandable why the unidentified flying object appearing over Los Angeles caused so much terror. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, a real wave of panic began.

On December 19, 1941, unfounded rumors circulated that an enemy air attack was approaching New York City. The situation was not made easier by Secretary of
