One
It was a lovely autumn night at Pemberley. Two weeks had passed since Fitzwilliam Darcy and I recovered the Pemberley Pearl bracelet. Yet our hearts remained heavy with the knowledge that The Darcy family's diamond necklace, Lady Darcy's Heart, had been stolen. Our engagement was a joyful affair, but we had decided to postpone the marriage until we could find the missing heirloom. Fitzwilliam wished for me to wear it on our wedding day, as a symbol of my union with him and his family.
As my family remained in Scotland for the time being, I found myself residing at Pemberley with Mrs. Featherly, my dear friend and companion. We spent our days recovering from our last adventure, exploring the grand estate and its picturesque gardens. Yet the shadow of the missing necklace hung heavily upon us, casting an air of melancholy over our otherwise tranquil existence.

I still could not comprehend the depths of Charlotte's betrayal. She had once been a dear friend, and I struggled to accept her involvement in such a nefarious scheme. But then again, she had played a part in the theft of the Pemberley Pearl, so why not the necklace as well?
Yes,
Fitzwilliam continued, his voice grave. It seems that after their devious collaboration to steal the Pearl, they may have turned their attention to Lady Darcy's Heart.
Then we must not allow them to benefit from their ill deeds!
I declared, my determination unwavering. We shall find the necklace and ensure that we have it on our wedding day. We can not let this wonderful tradition end with us, Fitzwilliam.
Are you certain that we should embark on another daring venture so soon after the last?
Fitzwilliam asked, his
