About this ebook

Cosplayer Miss Liza Z is just getting popular online with her interpretations of classic video game characters and the costumes she makes inspired by them. However, because of her own natural... gifts, she’s received a lot of criticism for being a “titty cosplayer,” a kind of soulless, attention-seeking floozy who glides by on looks rather than talent. When one of her respected idols in the community calls her just that, it’s just too much for her to handle. But a book she’s been reading has begun to have some odd effects on her dreams, and soon she finds out that the handsome, rugged hero of the tales might just be more than fantasy...

    The Con

People always ask me why I got into cosplay. I always tell them I didn’t get into it as much as I stumbled onto it after graduating college and having no other options. But the job, as much as I can call it that, is amazing: I create costumes of my favorite video game characters and other kinds of fancy clothing, make videos of myself making and wearing them, and somehow I get paid for it. I travel to some local conventions to show my latest stuff off, and I’ve even won a couple. Sure, I’m not a big name like some of the other cosplayers out there, but I’ve been doing alright.

This summer sure has been busy. I’ve hit about 100k followers on Instagram and have decided to hit the national con circuit for the first time. So far, everyone has been amazing, from fellow cosplayers to fans (that I actually get to meet! Yay!) to the staff that organize these things. It’s basically just been one big love fest, ya know? Finally meeting all of those people that support me and love what I do, it’s just a dream come true. A real fairy tale—

Hey, Princess! Lemme see yer titties!

    Goddamn it.

I suppose I should fill you in on the other side of my job. I’ve always liked the long, flowy dresses of characters like Princess Zelda, Cinderella, and Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The Victorian era of clothing is a period I think we as a civilization have never topped. The grace, the elegance, and the way some of the dresses make love to the female form, and all of the new ways I can play with those familiar forms is what keeps me making them
