    Florida is a beautiful state where it seems like death lurks right around the corner, let’s dive right into it.

    Introduction

    Known as the Sunshine state, Florida is located at the lower Southeast corner of The United States of America and has the longest coastline of US’s mainland.

    The living Insignia of the state includes the:

    The Barking tree frog as the state amphibian.

    The Northern Mockingbird as the state bird.

    The Florid largemouth bass and the Atlantic sailfish as the state fish.

    The orange blossom as the state flower.

    The Zebra longwing as the state insect.

    The Sabal Palmetto as the state tree.

    Florida is also well known for it’s Florida panther, the manatee, the bottlenose dolphin, the Florida cracker horse, As well as the American alligator, Loggerhead turtle, and the gopher tortoise.

    The state drink is of course orange juice. The state food is orange again, as well as key lime pie.

    Florida State gemstone is the Moonstone.

    Florida State rock is the Agatized coral.

    Florida State shell is the Florida horse conch.

    Florida State soil is Myakka.
