Introduction
Between three to eight people die in caving accidents in the United States every year and about 2 million people in the United States explore caving in the United States per year.
Besides the obvious fall hazards and loose rocks or the threat of cave-ins; There are likely to be wild predatory animals such as mountain lions, bears, wolves, bobcats that tend to be very territorial. In addition, there are usually snakes, insects, scorpions, bats, and all sorts of other creepy crawlies down there.
NEVER CAVE ALONE- Caving alone is stupid, foolish, and selfish- You will likely die.
