Predictive Techniques of 4th house - Saket Shah

    Aries Sign in 4th house

The SUN would be exalted in Aries in the fourth house. Being a cruel planet it is likely to cause worry and tension in the mind of the individual. Bhrigusays that the individual will be arrogant and he may not be able to get along with the common man. He may become successful in his 32nd year. When the owner of the house is strong the individual may acquire an expensive vehicle. Yavanjataka of Sphujidhvaja says that the individual may perform well at scientific studies. The Sun is the owner of the eighth house in the chart. Being placed in an angular house in exaltation it should promote the longevity of the individual. Still the effect of the exalted Sun will vary according to the constellation it occupies in the chart. It will project an aspect to its place of debilitation in the tenth. This will have a detrimental effect on the career of the individual. The individual may face obstacles in his career and there may be breaks in it. The tenth house represents the accumulated wealth of the father. The uncongenial influence of the Sun to the house is likely to cause its depletion or trouble in that regard. These effects are expected to appear in the period of the Sun. The Sun in Aswini would promote interest in the occult and metaphysics. The individual may leave home and travel indiscriminately. The Sun in the sign between 6°40' and 1 oo may not be very favourable for the longevity. It may cause disputes with the relatives and certain coldness with the mother. The Sun in Bharani may not yield good results relating to professional career of the individual. There would be setbacks and unpleasant developments during the period of the Sun. His children may rebel against his authority and his relations with them may deteriorate. The Sun may be good for longevity when it occupies the sign between 13°20' and 16°40'. The Sun in Krittika would give good results in its period that have been enumerated above. He may have deep interest in spiritualism.

The MOON in the fourth house in a friendly sign will cause changes in residence during its period. The individual may be fond of his mother. He may be sensual and according to Yavanjataka of Sphujidhvaja fond of female company but he will have much happiness through his spouse. The individual may have active interest in property matters. The matters represented by the house may flourish when the Moon is powerful. It will also promote the career of the individual. The individual may be happy but of quick temper. Varah Mihir in Brihajjatakam says that he may remain out of doors more often. A waning Moon may not be able to give asgood results according to Bhrigu. The Moon in Aswini will give a romantic nature. Varah Mihir in Brihajjatakam says that the individual may be skilful and clever. Any adverse influence on the Moon could disturb domestic life of the individual and his mother may suffer. The individual may remain disturbed when the Moon occupies the sign between 6°40' and 1 oo. Placed in the sign between 1 oo and 13°20' it will cause very close affection to develop between the individual and his wife. The Moon in Bharani according to Varah Mihir in Brihajjatakam makes the individual happy and firm. He may have a beautiful wife. His marriage may arise out of a love affair. He should be a well placed person and he may be involved in entertainment or fine arts business. He may be a researcher when the Moon occupies the sign between 13°20' and 16°40'. The Moon in Krittika may bring about changes in his home and marriage. This could be due to the inclination of the individual to seek female favours outside marriage.

MARS in the fourth house would normally be strong being in its own sign. So matters relating to property and other immovable assets should appear quite satisfactorily in life but, being a naturally malefic planet, Mars in the house may introduce a certain degree of disharmony at home and it would certainly cause discord in marriage since it would be casting its influence on the seventh house where it is not welcome in Cancer sign. In Chart V-1 above the individual got married in his 281t1 year. The wife of the individual had to leave his home the very next day after marriage. The separation continues. She was physically unable to walk. Mars rules the 28th year of life. Mars is in Bharani constellation of Venus. Venus is placed in the twelfth house with Saturn. It will cause separation. The Moon owns the seventh house. It is related to Venus through its dispositor Saturn. Such an individual may find business a difficult proposition. Its influence on the tenth house too would not be conducive to promotion of career prospects but it would project its eighth aspect on the eleventh house and would ensure acquisition of property, and when Jupiter is involved, general success in life. Bhrigu is of the view that the native will own conveyances and property and his mother will be longlived. If the third house is healthy, the younger siblings of the individual should also be closely associated with him. This position of Mars may promote an inclination to study engineering. Mars in Aswini may promote unhappiness and disharmony. He may face difficulties instudies and trouble may arise through machinery. Mars placed in the sign between 6°40' and 1 oo should promote disputes and fractious relations at home. Mars in Bharani may indicate domestic trouble on account of romantic affiliations or children. It is not a good indication for the marriage of the elder brother. Mars in Krittika may make the individual of fiery temper. He may also be prone to get involved in a major accident.

MERCURY in the fourth house here will be in an inimical sign. The individual may be of mischievous disposition who may not hesitate to take up irregular means to achieve his ends. Yavanjataka of Sphujidhvaja calls such an individual a rogue. His father may suffer injuries or undergo surgery in the period of Mercury. The spouse of the individual may be.in danger of losing her job in this period. Her enterprises may face obstacles. The period of Mercury will be good for the profession of the individual. He may take up business in luxury items or goods that are used by females. The presence of a naturally beneficial planet that is the owner of the ninth house will tend to promote the affairs of the fourth and tenth houses. Hence the individual may have some comforts, vehicles, properly and many friends. Mercury in Aswini will generally give the unsatisfactory results stated above but the individual may develop some interest in the occult. The individual may develop enmity on account of his scurrilous writings when Mercury occupies the sign between 6°40' and 10°. Mercury in Bharani will make the individual cruel. He may have difference of opinion with his paramour. This is a good position for profession and when the planet is placed in the sign between 16°40' and 20° the individual may meet with much success. Mercury in Krittika will bring the individual under much tension and may bring about major changes relating to affairs of the fourth house. Any involvement of Saturn would be an indication that the father of the individual may pass on in this period.

JUPITER in the fourth house would not support the profession of the individual. He may face unsatisfactory developments in his career during this period. He will read deeply on philosophy and metaphysical subjects and would be considered a learned person in these fields. He will be a person of good conduct. Yavanjataka of Sphujidhvaja characterises the individual as a very bold person. He may face. some worries on account of his wealth and children towards the close of his life. Bhrigu feels that the individual mayhave a spacious house. Any contact of Jupiter with Saturn would cause changes in residence and alienation of property. The individual rnay not remain contented according to Chamatkar Chintamani. Jupiter in Aswini is likely to turn the individual towards the Divine. Separation frorn children is also likely. The mother of the individual could be of impressive personality when Jupiter occupies Krittika or she rnay hold an important position.

VENUS will be placed in an inimical sign in the fourth house. Venus is the owner of the tenth house where its mooltrikona sign is placed. Hence its aspect to the tenth house will promote the profession of the individual, It should also be helpful in the prosperity of the father. Venus as the owner of a trine in an angle should give rajyoga results (much prosperity and power). The good effects will be curtailed to sorne extent owing to the inimical sign in which it is placed. He will like to have a well appointed horne. Saravali and Phaldeepika are emphatic that the individual will have conveyances. Since Venus is a naturally beneficial planet the affairs of the house are likely to be promoted. Venus in Aswini would only lose its ability to do good to sorne extent.
