Predictive Techniques of 7th house - Saket Shah
Aries Sign in 7th house
The SUN will be exalted in the seventh house in Aries. It is the owner of the eleventh house. Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra says that the individual will be liberal and virtuous and he will gain through his wife and her relatives. This is the natural house of Venus. This is also the natural seventh sign of the zodiac and a place for the Sun to be debilitated. As the Sun is inimical to Venus, its presence here will tend to impart a tendency to the individual to try to dominate his marriage which will lead to tension in marriage and it could even lead to its disruption. The Sun is the significator of social morality. The seventh house is one of alliances and cooperation. The individual will work for public morality in these matters. The Sun will project a debilitated aspect to the ascendant and will therefore impart poor temper, arrogance and a false sense The SUN will be exalted in the seventh house in Aries. The MOON in the seventh house would relate the tenth house to the seventh. It would bring in focus matters relating to the profession and status of the individual. The partner of the individual will be instrumental in improvement in his status and career. He will do well at his career as he would be caring and accommodating. The individual and his wife will be good looking and fair. He may stay abroad in connection with his profession. The Moon in the seventh house represents the ovaries, bladder, and uterus of a female individual. It also represents her pregnancies. The Moon in Bharani will give rise to much love and affection between married partners. The Moon in Krittika will give success and gain in commerce. The Moon in contact with Mercury should make the individual a good and successful businessman. The individual will be fond of travelling when the Moon is in contact with Jupiter. The Moon in contact with Saturn will give rise to trouble in the bladder/ ovary/uterus of a female individual. The contact of the Moon with both Jupiter and Saturn could cause serious complications in her pregnancy. The elder sister of the individual may face a difficult time in his 24th year. The Moon in the seventh house will determine the condition of residence in a foreign country. Jyotish Makarand states that the individual will be lustful and fond of travelling to foreign destinations. The Moon When waxing is a naturally beneficial planet. Its presence in the seventh house will cause an early marriage of the individual and he will be happy with it. The results will not be so good when the Moon is waning. Such a Moon in contact with Saturn may create marital trouble through the influence of the mother of the individual. The Moon in the seventh house will make the spouse caring and a good home maker. Waning Moon could cause tendency to have affairs outside marriage. Kashyap is of the view that a waning Moon may give a spouse with an anxious mind. When the Moon is waxing there would be a large number of women, according to Kashyap, in the life of the individual. The younger sibling of the individual may face trouble relating to his d1ildren when the Moon is waning and related to Jupiter. The waning Moon in contact with Venus or in Bharani constellation will not be good for his romance. He may have some trouble in his speech when the waning Moon is in contact with Mercury. The younger sibling may have some trouble in his stomach when the waning Moon is in contact with the Sun. The mother of the individual may not be happy with the state of her property when the Moon is waning.
MARS will be in its own sign in Aries. This sign according to Yavanjataka of Sphujidhvaja represents youth and property. Mars is also karaka for these. Placed in the seventh house this combination suggests that the spouse of the individual will be youthful to look at and would be involved with property. What Parashar Hora Shastra says that the individual will be happy with his marriage and he will be courageous, but he still would be inclined to look for sexual gratification outside marriage. He may have a high libido. Parashar expects an individual having the owner of the seventh house in the seventh to be a physician. He may have an attractive personality. Mars projects an aspect to the second house. This will strengthen the house thus improving wealth, and family affairs for the individual, and property matters for the elder siblings. The second house has constellations of Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury. The individual may therefore be rich and a logical speaker. Mars will project a debilitated aspect to the tenth house of profession. Mars placed in the sign between 0° and 3°20’ will give wealth through profession. When placed between 3°20’and 16°40’ Mars may cause reverses in career. Beyond 16°40' till the end of the sign the individual is likely to do well at an intellectual job or at a job that requires effective speaking. Mars is a naturally maleflc planet. Its presence in the seventh house may still cause some tension or dissatisfaction relating to matters governed by the house. Mars in Bharani will promote libido. Mars in Krittika will give a difficult temper to the spouse. Mars in contact with the Moon will give a beautiful and youthful wife. Mars in contact with Mercury will involve the individual in a business relating to fire, electricity, machinery, property, or blood. Mars in contact with Jupiter will be inclined to cause an accident particularly when Mars occupies Krittika. It will also give wealth. Mars in contact with Saturn may not be good for the health of the individual. It would also be a maraca.
MERCURY is neutral to Mars. Mercury represents business in the context of the seventh house. The items represented by Aries and Mercury could be those in some of which the individual may carry out business. Unless Mercury is strong the business will do only averagely well. There would be double dealing with traders and breaking of contracts. Deals may get finalized with difficulty. Mercury has the tendency to multiply. When Mercury is in Bharani in the seventh house, it would multiply the number of partners of opposite sex in the life of the individual. Mercury owns the twelfth house too. Therefore these partners would be socially of a lower status and they would be bed partners. Saravali supports this statement. Sarvarth Chintamani says that the individual may have liaison with women belonging to trading community. The friendly aspect of Mercury on the ascendant will improve the looks of the individual. Mercury is young in age. The individual will prefer young partners and his wife would also be much younger to him in age. The mother of the individual is likely to be academically inclined. One of the younger siblings may have an intellectual bent of mind. Jatakabhamam states that the individual may face resource crunch in this period and he may travel much. The individual may face heavy expenditure. The individual may change his business in his 34th year when Mercury is in contact with Saturn. Mercury in contact with Jupiter and placed in the sign between 6°40’ and 10° will be favourable. The individual will be learned and well off. Mercury in contact with Rahu will produce an unreliable person who may cheat others. Mercury in contact with Ketu or Mercury in Aswini is likely to disturb marriage or partnership of the individual.
JUPITER will be placed in a friendly sign in the seventh house. It owns the third house. The individual will be a trusted and productive subordinate whose superiors will remain happy with him. He will have a good looking, chaste and virtuous wife. Varah Mihir in Brihajjatakam says that the individual will have a spirited wife. Yet, his married life will not be happy. The reason lies in the ownership of the sixth house by Jupiter: Jupiter in a sign of Mars
