Successful Sister - Alicia Robinson
Dedication
This book is dedicated to my sisters.
To my sisters Esperanza, Christina, and Rosa, you have taught me how to be vulnerable and tough. You taught me leadership skills before I could spell the word. I love and appreciate you. I know we make Espi proud daily with just how tough we are, and we got that in part from her, she was the definition of grit and resilience.
It is also dedicated to my Trade sisters: which hell, includes you, Rosa. I genuinely want success for you all. I want you to know that I know the burdens we carry with us, and I want you to be able to identify them and put ‘em down. Next time you hear someone say put your purse down
I want you to think about this book and what that means.

My industry (steamfitter- construction) has too few successful sisters and if they are out there… I can’t see them- maybe I am not alone.
I want to be the successful sister that is seen; so that other sisters know they can be successful too. I would love to see to it that they (you) have a few tools in their tool belt. I have been in my trade for just over 14 years now. In this time, I have learned more about myself than I ever expected through work, my work partners, my mentors, and my life circumstances (Because life happens). I want that for all my sisters biological and trade sisters- hell I want it for my brothers too and I hope that I can encourage my sisters and brothers to be bigger, better, best versions of themselves and successful in their lives and trades.
