Description

In today’s episode, I share with you my current experience shifting my identify and breaking away from the caregiver/parentified role as a now-adult, and how setting boundaries has helped me build a stronger relationship with my siblings and parent. This is a raw and honest conversation about boundaries, people-pleasing, and the experience of having to take on extra roles and how it’s impacted our adult lives. This is also a pep-talk, “lift me up” type of episode for my parentified children who grew up taking on multiple roles and struggle with it as adults. This is your reminder that it will get better. Your inner child also deserves love and attention.
