ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Undoubtedly, this poetry book would not have come into existence without the divine intervention of GOD. The Almighty always allows us a window of opportunity to forge the way forward even during the times of great despair, temptations and confusions. I therefore safely acknowledge my GOD for allowing me a chance to write this book through His artistic capabilities which are eminent by mere looking at His creation of the universe and opportunity given to us as human beings to experience its beauty. We must acknowledge and praise HIM for that. As poets, we are daily inspired by the world around us.
My inspiration is derived from Manyiseni poets and also influenced by so many South African poets, African poets and the world poets. My family and true friends have always been supportive of me, and I am humbled by their contributions. Through poetry, you learn to extend love to those that don’t love you, extend respect to those who don’t respect you and forgive even those who seek no forgiveness from you. Poetry allows us to enjoy internal bliss even when you are in an eye of a cyclone.
I would not have written this book without a constant pressure from those who have seen me reciting my poems in different places I have been invited to. The poems in this book will always be relevant in any situations you are faced with. They give hope, motivate, advise, revive the spirit of humanity (Ubuntu) and remind us of the reasons of our existence. This book is a must-have collection for both young and old; it is soulful and motivational.
