      BED

      Cocooned, eyes pinned open, barely able to breathe,

      Time ticks by, and yet I find myself in a world where time seems irrelevant.

      Dreams become my sarcophagus, and I never want to be discovered.

      In this comfy coffin I've found myself, I can't find a reason to climb out.

      Hooked on the memories I create in my head, I wish you were here, holding me in bed.

      SEEN

      Glossy, watchful eyes never tempted to blink or squint, always judging the walk you stomp.

      Opening the floodgates as soon as the yellow brick road leads me straight to us.

      Another day with no words to say, exposing the pain, the pain you hoped fluttered away.

      Pointless protesting for an end to it all, it still scratches like being on an endless hamster ball.

      Jump to that ace of spades, as you know it's going to be another nightless raid.

      TOGETHER
