Preface

I'd like to share something simple to understand yet so beautifully profound about our Father in heaven:

If you have children, you know that our natural inclination is to love, nurture, and protect them; all natural emotions are given by God, and we know Jesus's sacrifice, but the Father denied Himself of this right and gave His Son for us.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16 NKJV).

The embodiment, the very epitome of love, became flesh and dwelt among us. The very essence of the Father's love was manifested through His Son, Jesus. When I think of the agonizing pain the Father must've felt leading His own Son to the slaughter, who would do this? But God!
