he immorality and promiscuity in churches today are a catastrophe. It is unimaginable what Christians and Men of God do. Some do such ungodly acts to feed their weaknesses, others for pleasure, and others to fulfil satanic agendas or for diabolic powers.

From the pulpit to the pew, impurity and massive infestation of the viruses of promiscuity and immorality are so much that if you get closer, you would even prefer an atheist to a professed saint. Worldliness is the order of the day.

1 Corinthians 6:18 AMPC

The Bible says, Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

But today, what we see is heartbreaking. Christians are living double-standard lives. For example, the same Pastor (minister) who just preached to you, the same person who is always talking to you about moral standing, would be found displaying ungodly characters.

If you come closer, you will see he is having affairs with sisters and even ladies (women) he is supposed to lead to God (it is the same with the women Pastors or ministers).

Some Pastors move around sleeping everywhere with choir members and hunting fine fine babes, in Churches, they serve as General Overseers (GOs) or Senior Pastors. And not only do they sleep with single ladies, but married ones too.

Friends, there is nothing wrong if choir members pray and have the leading of God to marry a sister or a brother. But before marriage, that relationship must be wholesome. However, the situation here is the immoral behaviour we see them display; fornicating (committing adultery for the married ones), partying, drinking, and smoking during the week, and on Sunday morning, coming to lift holy hands in Church.

The divorce rate in Churches is so high; that we cannot figure out a clear distinction between the world and the Church.

Elders commit adultery without remorse. And young Christians see fornication as a normal thing to do; after all, they say, body no be firewood na – a colloquial English in Nigeria.

The one that not only bursts all bubbles but breaks them is Homosexuals and Lesbians on the altar of God when the Bible says ‘uncleanness’ among others, should not even be named, Ephesians 5:3 and there is a penalty for doing so, Romans 1:26-27. Some Churches do not even see the need to preach Christ to the LGBTQ2SIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, 2 Spirit, Intersex, Asexual, and more) Community. It is sad!

y Pastor, my Gain, is slang in some Pentecostal Churches, especially in Nigeria. The meaning varies for different people, given the circumstance or beliefs.
