About this ebook

A great deal has been said about meditation, about our collective conditioning and about philosophy, the love for truth. However, very little, if anything, has been seen to be done - not as in practiced but actually done! This book is just that. At the very least, it is a generally honest attempt to do so - and at best it might be a rare proof that it is in fact possible.

A book by Tripute - A holistic collective concerned with a living not led by consciousness

Ayham Kader

What started as means of thriving and improving one's life continued to morph into itself as the story that he was told and consequently the story he kept telling and building for myself. Whatever was achieved, professionally or socially, did not deliver the sanctification, satisfaction or the happiness he knew for a fact was missing. So this was the beginning, and now it is his everyday in living; to see whatever is going on as long as he is alive for. Ayham Kader is a holistic dialogue facilitator, artist and founder of Tripute.

    Synopsis - Ayham Kader

    PREFACE

This book’s core content is a direct transcription of a series of recorded meetings, recorded holistic dialogues, supposedly. So the following notes are essential for the reader to be aware of before going into them.

There were periods of silence between people’s lines of verbal thought and the duration of these silences has been broken down into the following:

[Period of silence] = more than 10 seconds and less than 1 minute

[Long period of silence] = between 1 to 3 minutes

[Very long period of silence] = between 3 and 5 minutes

[Extremely long period of silence] = more than 5 minutes

Since it is a live conversation and not rehearsed, we have removed many of the stuttering and verbal tics where they are redundant to the meaning:

    Replaced Okay with OK

    Replaced gonna with going to

    Replaced yeah with yes

    Removed I mean

    Removed you know

    Removed like

    Removed sort of

    Removed whatever

Removed if you see what I mean

    Removed if that makes sense

The participants who requested to remain anonymous are split between individuals who wanted to be called only by their first name and those who are called by the first letter of their first name.

    INTRODUCTION

    By Ayham Kader

This is a dream come true for me, especially since dreams do not hold much meaning beyond their occurrence - analysing them has almost always left me longing for something more than what is.

I have attempted to reflect on what transpired numerous times; and with each attempt I became aware of my bias. It is easy to miss that this is solely my own perspective and not representative of how others perceive it. How then can I effectively convey what happened and why it happened?

I believe, now, that there is no need to go beyond presenting the tangible occurrences to allow you to determine if this is something you would also like to participate in. And, yes, there is certainly room for you here. This is not a joke or an attempt to lure you into something; it is simply one of the aspects to be shared here.

A group of people came together to engage in holistic dialogue, unaware of what lay in store for them. As they participated, numerous realisations emerged and their communication underwent a change. Was it a fundamental change? Who knows! Nevertheless, the change is visibly noticeable. And the miracle lies in the fact that it occurred within the group itself, individually, regardless of their collective past experiences and so-called expertise.

There were clashes, conflicts, and mishaps, as one would expect when individuals unite to address their life journeys for two hours at a time, which is the average duration of a holistic dialogue (HD) meeting.

Their journeys are not separate from their structures, not separate from their goals and wishes, not separate from their futures. (The one they had in mind or the one that was their minds.)

At some point, something happened and we took a turn that was never taken before. It was mentioned and talked about in the other Tripute books - Holistic Dialogue: Origins & Holistic Dialogue: A Sober Psychedelic Conversation - but then again this was in no way planned or foreseen.

Synopsis is the title of this book and it is that pivotal turn: a quality of seeing together that is no longer concerned with moving together, no longer tied to a narrative.

Synopsis emerged through weekly HD meetings that were running for around 3 years at the point of release of this book’s first edition.

    synopsis (n.)

1610s, a general view, an outline, from Late Latin synopsis a synopsis, from Greek synopsis a general view, literally a seeing altogether, a seeing all at once, from syn- together (see syn-) + opsis sight, appearance, from PIE root *okw- to see. also from 1610s

As of January 2024 Synopsis is cleared up to be as: An experimental space where one actively refrains from building up an internal and/or a collective narrative.

Not much can be said about Synopsis other than what has been expressed in the edited meeting transcriptions in this book. Synopsis is an ongoing experimentation that will undoubtedly be presented to you in the future as an expanded edition upon edition. However, for that to happen, it needs you. And if this statement, 'A life not led by consciousness,' intrigues you in any way, then you undoubtedly need it too.

So without further ado, let us begin.

    Meeting #1

    3rd May 2023

Attendees: Áron Torma, Ayham Kader, B, David Phipps, Gary, Hermann Althaler, L, Paul Dimmock, R.

Ayham Kader: OK, then, so I guess now we can start as we did last week. There’ll be one facilitator, just one person, and - I don't know - let's see how it goes.

R wasn't there last week. I don't know if you caught up with the last recording to have a taste of it, but what we're doing is a bit different in the sense that usually people facilitate one another by clarifying each other's questions or proposing alternative words et cetera. But here we're having... This is so difficult to explain, especially with someone... How can I say it?

We're not taking care of each other. Right? We're not taking care of each other. We're not helping one another here. So here, one's reactions, the whole thing that happens inside oneself, is looked at; and whatever clears up in oneself is shared - not as a rule but because we've been talking for weeks and weeks. Right?

We went into thought, hopefully from head to toe, so now we can skip that part. Not to indulge in it together but to indulge with it individually. We can just share the clarity that comes up. And in case one or two of us are having some difficulty, or maybe something is not being noticed, as David pointed out, then there is one facilitator who will clear that up, not many of us - just not for it to spread all over the place because it tends to happen like that. And this is what was proposed as an experiment last week, but today we have dipped our toes in it and we'll try to see how it goes.

So I propose not to start... This is the start. From nothing we can start with one or two minutes of silence and then it picks itself up from whatever it picks up.

OK. So one or two minutes of silence, and then...

    [Very long period of silence]

AK: I have a word in my head - plagiarism - I don't know if I’m saying it correctly - plagiarism. Yes, plagiarism.

David Phipps: Is that when we speak with the words of others rather than our own? In the context of, say, this group, yes.

    [Period of silence]

DP: Do we have anything to say that hasn't been said? Or that isn't a result of our education?

    [Period of silence]

DP: But I'll correct myself because I think it was related to where whatever you were saying is coming from.

    [Long period of silence]

R: I'm just wondering if this book is going to be marketed on Amazon like Paul's other books on dialogue.

    [Period of silence]

AK: I can tell you that no thoughts have been given to the book in any way, shape or form. I have no thoughts about it. I don't know about Paul, but this is not Paul's book. This is no-one's book. This is going to be a... See, I don't want to even give it any thought. This is... We can all talk about it at a later stage. But I doubt it would be like any other book - I have no idea.

    [Very long period of silence]

AK: Can concern be without ownership?

    R: Could you
