The inspiration for this fantasy adventure takes the author back to her early age of two, when she began dance lessons at Mae Murry Dance Studio. She thrived in this environment, eventually winning a small dance competition on TV. At age ten, her mother found an excellent art teacher who taught in the realistic classic style. Students would select prints of the master artists, learn to work in oils, producing the exact replica of the print. Art would continue to be one of her passions, as well as dance. Thirdly, at age six, piano lessons were added to her daily schedule with strict rules. "Once you start, you can never stop! You must practice one hour a day, seven days a week, including your birthday and all holidays. It should be a routine just like brushing your teeth!" explained her mother, carefully. Somehow our author signed up for this commitment! She studied with various teachers throughout the years. Finally, as a young adult, under the guidance of Edith Knox, herself a graduate of the famed Juilliard School of Music in N.Y. At the prestigious music school, Miss Knox had the privilege to hone her technique along with learning advanced theory from a Russian professor who, himself, had his tutorship with the well-respected romantic composer, Sergei Rachmaninoff. Eventually, after college, the author became a piano teacher. It wasn't until she married that she studied writing. Her father-in-law had been asked, in 1939, to head Universal Pictures in order to save the failing film studio from bankruptcy. His legacy took place while Ms. Kallison was growing up. Her father-in-law remained the president until 1960 when he became the Chairman of the Board and brought in Lew Wasserman to be president. Once married, Ms. Kallison found herself surrounded by writers leading her to understand the art of writing, and where the author's imagination came alive to weave this unique tale.

A written work of art. The writer's love for music is undeniable. The book was written by someone who has a rich imagination. It is nothing new because writers often do, but this is exceptional.
Tavia Kallison made a whole new world out of music. Very creative. The story seems familiar, yet it is extraordinary. The concept may be simple, yet the premise is unique. It is a hybrid genre.
Magical Music Planet plot is as old as the 'once-upon- a-time' type but it gives a new refreshing reading experience. You'll be surprised how modern and futuristic it turned out to be. Flying objects with musical instrument design, additional inhabited planets somewhere in the universe. It is a science fantasy, woven brilliantly.
You will love and be amused by the names of the characters, places, and everything on the planet. They were carefully thought of. Witty.
Each character's song was beautifully written and arranged. The illustration and background of the book suggested a light and enjoyable story. The magical chant is not an ordinary hocus-pocus and abracadabra thing. One of a kind.
As you go through the story, you can almost smell the flowers and hear the music, wishing you have more pages to turn and a little bit disappointed that you've reached the end.
What a great talent the author has who can spin this magical, musical tale. A blend of ancient and modern plot. Just like any fairy tale, you can get a moral lesson from it.
I commend the author for being able to sustain the concept and make the whole idea into a book.
Wouldn't it be great to see Tavia Kallison's name appear on the credits of the silver screen? I can't wait to see.
See what music can do to humankind. Can't think of a world without it.
Chapter 1a
Introducing the Strange Planet called ‘Mutonia.’
Music Power
Music with it’s special language
Touches the soul,
World without it
Would be older than old
And colder than cold…
Anyone who had the privilege of dropping in on the planet ‘Mutonia’ (derived from the words ‘music’ and ‘tone’) described it as fanciful. Large sculptures carved out of wood in the image of musical instruments were planted in various locations around the tiny planet. Other times, one could spot trimmed bushes that spelled out titles of famous songs. When approached, these bushes would blast out the melody. Everyone conceded this planet was unusual and that Mutonia was brimming over with much enchantment.
One distinct element that kept the Mutonians captivated, was the graceful willow trees planted alongside the piano keyboard pathway. All Mutonians enjoyed this special road as they leisurely strolled by. The umber-colored tree trunks held up graceful tree branches, which sprouted jade and parsley-colored leaves. The leaves hid musical chimes.
When the wind gently blew through the leaves, familiar and favorite melodies whistled in the air, and that, too, brought so much pleasure to the Mutonians.
As the Mutonians strolled by this favored street, suddenly and unexpectedly from their tree trunk, spun ‘people dancers.’ This burst of dancers wore colorful costumes that displayed spectacular gyrating dance moves. Their performance dazzled the Mutonians, who would then stop to enjoy the performance. Once the dancers had finished, they would spin back again into innocent willow trees. Then again, the scene returned to its idyllic setting, reminding everyone how fortunate they were to reside on such a unique and remarkable planet called Mutonia.

Meet the Royal Family
Mutonia’s beloved ruler, King Opus Von TREBLE-CLEF, was known to boast about his stunning daughters. The princesses were triplets, so no one could tell them apart. Blessed from head to toe with breathtaking beauty, they shared the same chiseled button nose and long thick eyelashes that fluttered around their almond-shaped turquoise-blue eyes. One could not help but notice their full, soft, heart-shaped lips whenever they spoke. The sisters’ lustrous auburn hair complimented their flawless alabaster skin, and everyone was quite aware of their perfectly proportioned figures. Since their father, as well as all the Mutonians, had trouble telling them apart, it was fortunate the girls pursued very different pastimes.
Princess Allegra, for instance, sported around with Lord BARKLEY BASS CLEF, her childhood sweetheart. Barkley was the only person who could distinguish Allegra from her other sisters because, whenever the two were in the same room, Allegra’s eyes would light up as she batted her long thick eyelashes… constantly flirting with him! If they were not together, they could be found talking goo-goo talk to each other on their cell phones.
Princess Cantata, on the other hand, kept to herself. More often than not, she’d be curled up in a comfy spot, intently reading the latest romantic novel. The novels had to be at least 300 pages. She often imagined herself as one of the book’s main characters, so involved in the stories that sometimes she would confuse fact with fiction.
Princess Viola flourished as a princess. She was happiest flying the family’s Eighth Note Aircraft to the nearby planet, Diva, the fashion capital for all the neighboring planets. She jetted there to shop for the latest couture designs. Princess Viola never minded sharing her purchases with her sisters. If her clothes became soiled, tattered, or—heaven forbid—out of style, she would have a good excuse to do some more serious shopping!
00012.jpegThe King spoke sternly to his prideful daughters, You girls may wear any of your high-fashion clothes. However, I have one strict rule. At all times, you must either display a musical symbol pinned to your fetching outfits, or a musical term is to be woven into the fabric. I want you girls to look royal in the public eye and conduct yourselves properly, respecting the role of being a princess. Otherwise, there shall be severe consequences. As you girls know, I love you very much. However, if you don’t obey these rules, you shall be stripped of your royal privileges. I don’t believe any of you would welcome that. Do you understand?
Yes,
nodded the princesses in unison.
It was midsummer, July 22nd, one week before the day Princess Allegra Von TREBLE-CLEF planned to wed Lord Barkley BASS-CLEF. Each Mutonian was personally invited to the important gala.
Since childhood, Princess Allegra and Lord Barkley enjoyed playing their own private game of Hide and Seek. They chased one another, sailing through the air on their custom-made airborne vehicles. Hers was designed in the shape of her family’s crest, riding on his chariot shaped as a BASS CLEF SIGN; whereas Barkley glided across the sky on the musical bass-clef sign, portraying the crest of his lineage. This day proved to be no
