      Jason Cooper - Iraq June 9th

      Lieutenant Colonel, we have non-friendlies coming in from the west. ETA is twenty-five minutes and air support is thirty-five minutes out, Staff Sargent Collins yelled into his radio.

      Okay men, let’s get ready. We are going to have to hold them until air support arrives. SSGT Collins, get back on the radio and tell the air support that we need them here quicker if they can get here, I told my unit.

      Thirty minutes later, air support has arrived and is taking out the enemy.

      Collins, Jones, Harris, Johnson, Bernard, Williams, Campbell, Martin, Richardson, Ford, Miller, Spencer, fall back. Anyone copy? FALL BACK, FALL BACK NOW. Air support has arrived, I yelled again.

      I don’t remember who replied. Everything went
