Why Pray the Rosary
The benefit of saying the rosary is countless. first, we know that the power of prayer is unspeakable.
For me there is no other prayer in the world that is so rich in biblical and theological meaning, more centered to the core of our faith and spiritually beautiful than the Rosary. It is a chain of prayer that binds us to God. That is why you are encouraged to pray the Rosary
Simply put, the Rosary works. Here are some of the reasons why to pray the Rosary.
1. Rare Peace. We live in a fast paced and chaotic world. Hence there is a lot of things that fogs the mind, unsettles the soul, and leads to poor decisions. In the midst all these distractions, noises, chaos and confusion our souls seek and yearn to find peace joy, contentment and clarity. praying the Rosary in a reflective and meditative way settles our hearts and minds. In a deep way and bring the clarity and succor we sorely need and yearn for it puts us at ease, creating a peace that is rare and beautiful.
2. Unique and different Perspective. Do you always yearn for a quiet time where you can retreat for a while from all the hustles and bustles that characterize our lives? The Rosary is a great way to do that. It allows us to leave the world behind for a little while and get some perspective. By praying the Rosary, we get to step back from who we are, where we are, and what we’re doing, and reassess who we are and what on earth we are doing.
Our Daily Spiritual Vitamins. The Rosary like the word of God is ever fresh and new, and deeply personal and special it is best experienced than told. whenever we say the rosary the experience is always different from the last time, we did it .it does not mean that the Rosary change, but we do. Our questions change. Our struggles and concerns change. Our faith and doubts change. Where we are in our journey with God changes.
The gracious advocacy of our mother Mary.
Who best to run to that we may follow Christ more profoundly during this journey to heaven, if not His own Mother, who walked all the way of the cross with Her son? Simeon puts it right "a sword will pierce your heart and the thoughts of many will be laid bare’. Nobody sees the life of a child the way that child’s mother does—not even the father. The Rosary is a way of looking at Jesus Life, his ministry through Mary’s perspective of Jesus’ life. She has a unique perspective. It seems that every genuine Christian, not just Catholics, should be interested in that perspective—and not just interested, but fascinated. In the Rosary we ponder the life of Jesus through the eyes of his mother.
. We all acknowledge that Mary is the Mother of Christ and because Christ or to be precise, Jesus Christ is God and Mary is the Mother of God. That knowledge alone suffices to give us the greatest comfort in life, knowing that we have a mother in heaven constantly interceding for us. Again, the saying the Rosary gives us that opportunity to walk or to feel what Christ felt in His work of redeeming us.
Gift of Awareness. praying the Rosary broadens our awareness of the happenings inside, around us, and to us, being aware is one of the most incredible gifts God can give us. Among the many benefits we gain from being aware is the ability to see things as they really are. This rare clarity enables them that possess it to be better decision makers.
Epic and Rare Moments. When we pray the Rosary, we reflect on some of the greatest events and moments in history of redemption of mankind. For instance, the Annunciation, Mary’s moment, the moment when her yes
changed the world. Imagine the monumental courage that would have required. Think about it. Everything hung in the balance. What would have happened if Mary do not give her consent? And there are 20 of these moments in the different mysteries of the Rosary. Imagine what we can learn.
Living in the present. Praying the Rosary regularly encourages us soft pedal and to seek to live life at a different pace than the rest of the world. We learn from Mary how to look at
