About this ebook

Can you fall in love with someone without meeting them?

Oliver grew up hearing about his parents love story.

The story goes that his dad was calling to make reservations for a trip and his mom answered. He heard her voice and he just knew. He went on the vacation and the two of them were married by the end of the week.

Oliver never really believed that something like that could happen to him.

Then he gets an email from Avery.

She's studying at the University of Oxford and is answering his ad for a flatmate.

One email and he knows that there's something about her that draws him to her.

After five emails, he's smitten.

When they meet in person, will it be true love?

    Hi,

I saw your ad looking for a flatmate and wondered if you were still looking for someone? I’m going to be doing a semester at the University of Oxford, and my original housing plans fell through, so now I’m scrambling to find a new place to live. Your flat looks close to the campus, and I think it would be a perfect fit.

Please let me know if it’s still available.

    Avery,

Yes, I’m still looking for a flatmate. Oxford University is only about a ten-minute walk from the front door. I’m sure you saw in the listing, but it’s a two-bedroom, two bathrooms. I travel a lot for work so I won’t be there much, which is why I wanted a flatmate. It will be nice to know that someone is there to watch the place.

I’m a bit of a neat freak, so I’m looking for someone who won’t be too messy and can clean up after themselves. Would you mind telling me a little more about yourself? What are you studying, and what dates would you be here?

    Sincerely,

    Oliver

    Oliver,

I’m a neat freak too! You won’t have to worry about messes or anything, and I would help with cleaning and cooking. I love to cook, so I don’t mind making dinner and stuff for both of us. When you’re in town, that is.

I’m studying English Literature and hoping to become an editor in a publishing house after I graduate. I only have one more year left to go until I graduate.
