About this ebook
The ultimate cat lover’s collection of knitting patterns for garments and accessories.
Knitters and cats lovers will love this collection of sixteen quirky designs, all based around the theme of cats. It includes four garments graded for sixteen different sizes, as well as cat-themed accessories including a wrap, shawl, scarf, cowl, capelet, mittens and hats. Knitters can choose from more advanced patterns throughout the book or more beginner patterns using lighter weight yarn. The patterns are divided up into four chapters, each with a different style of cat-themed design similar to Marna’s Sinister Catdigan pattern.Related to Cat Knits

Cat Knits - Marna Gilligan
FAT CATS
Would you like some cosy feline company? These cats will keep you warm! These patterns use texture to create subtle cat faces and, because they’re made with chunky yarn, they’re lovely quick knits.
Cosy Cat Sweater
This is a cozy winter sweater, with a yoke of textured cats to keep you warm, and little cats tucked onto the cuffs and hem.
DIMENSIONS
These are the dimensions of the completed sweater. Choose a size with 10-20cm (4-8in) positive ease for a relaxed knit (perfect for winter layering) or knit a size nearer to your own chest size for a snug, fitted sweater.

GAUGE
14 sts and 18 rows to 10cm (4in) over stocking stitch. Check your gauge in the round, over both large- and small-circumference knitting, and wash and block your swatch before measuring.
GAUGE IS ESSENTIAL TO GET THE RIGHT SIZE.
NEEDLES
6mm or size needed to obtain gauge: 40cm, 60-80cm circular needles, and your preferred needles for working a small circumference.
5.5mm or one size below that needed to obtain gauge: 40cm, 60-80cm circular needles, and your preferred needles for working a small circumference.
TOOLS AND NOTIONS
Tapestry needle.
Three stitchmarkers – one to mark the end of round, and two (cat-markers) to mark the borders of the little inset cats.
YARN
Eden Cottage Yarns Pendle Chunky: 100% superwash merino; 100m (109yds) per 100g; colourway Silver Birch: [8, 8, 9, 9] [10, 11, 11, 12] skeins.
Notes
This sweater is knitted bottom up. The body and the sleeves are worked separately and joined to work the yoke.
Written and charted instructions are both included for the cats; you can work either option.
