Pippa's Pawprints of Friendship - Emily Thompson
Chapter 1: Pippa's Playdate Predicament
Pippa the Pug woke up with a wagging tail and a wide smile on her face. Today was the day she had been eagerly waiting for – her playdate with Bella the Beagle. Bella had just moved into the neighborhood, and Pippa couldn't wait to make a new friend.
Pippa's human, Emily, helped her put on her favorite polka-dot collar and attached a shiny name tag that said Pippa
on it. With a joyful bark, Pippa dashed out the front door, pulling Emily along behind her.
The park was just a short walk away, and as they approached, Pippa spotted Bella sitting near a tall oak tree. Her tail wagged even faster, and she tugged on the leash, urging Emily to hurry.
Pippa, slow down!
called Emily, trying to keep up. But Pippa's excitement got the better of her, and she sprinted toward Bella, barking with delight.
Bella, a calm and gentle beagle, looked up with surprise as Pippa came charging towards her. Pippa skidded to a stop right in front of Bella, wagging her tail so vigorously that she almost lost her balance.
Hi, Bella! I'm Pippa!
exclaimed Pippa, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Bella wagged her tail back, but before she could say anything, Pippa noticed a shiny red ball lying on the ground nearby. Without thinking, Pippa pounced on it, snatching it up in her mouth.
Pippa, drop it!
Emily called out, but it was too late. Pippa's playful nature took over, and she dashed off, chasing the ball around the park.
Bella watched as Pippa zoomed past, her floppy ears flapping in the wind. Bella had hoped to spend a quiet afternoon
