The Scimitar Square

The story begins with Gregg and Laurie looking for a particular landmark as they drove up and down a country Road with Laurie wishing she could be on a beach. They wind up having to do some dangerous favors for an Indian and wound up being stuck in a spider’s cave. The journey leads them to the other side of the Galaxy where they are captured by the evil General Lars and there is a fight to the death in then Scimitar square.

I was born in a small house in Brooklyn, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1947 and moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut as a small boy. I met Lauren, the love of my life in1985 and were married years later and moved to Bristol, Connecticut. One night, I had a vivid dream that caught my attention, that spurred me to write it down, and sent it to my sister T. Jene Brideau, for an interpretation who also is a writer. She wrote and told me that the story was good. I took her encouragement and my imagination went to work. That’s when I discovered my God-given talent to write great space adventures stories. From then on, I have written over fifty stories of which only seven of them have been published with great reviews.

Epilogue

Thor; or Thor Manning. Stromburg he grew up on a farming planet and was more trouble than he was worth, because of his powerful desire for adventure. His parents did everything they could do, to teach him farming, to no avail. When he reached nineteen years old, Sam took him under his wing and gave him a job working for the Agency on the planet, Avalon Prime.

As the years passed, Sam led him to Christ and became his mentor and lifelong friend, who introduced him to the Institute later.

Sam: He is short about five feet three inches tall, and rather plump. He lives for the adventure, the more danger that is involved, the better he likes it. Sam can achieve more by working alone than with a team; he gives the orders but has a tough time taking them. Even though the two of them work very well alone, when together they are unstoppable.

Gregg Forweather white male 40, 6" tall, an all-around man. Carpentry, plumbing whatever he can manage to fix it. A Born-again Christian.

Laurie Forweather: white female. 35 and is 5’11 tall she has red curly hair, loves to sketch. Does not like camping

Patrick: a three foot tall Leprechaun that can shoot lighting from his fingers

Pixy: she is a Sprite, thirty-five inches tall, from Slandor. She heats big cities and is energetic and will charge into any situation moxie of someone twice her size. She hates big cities, and loves roasted frosty nuts.

Cherry R. Blossom: was born on Planet Haskel Prime, which is slightly smaller than that of Earth. Cherry’s younger sister’s name was Jasmine who disappeared and was presumed dead, at the age of sixteen. But she was found years later, on Earth. Cherry’s father died in a fiery crash while serving on an ore spaceship when she was five years old. From that time on, Cherry and her mother lived on what they could afford, which was not much. As the years went on Cherry received Christ at the age of Nineteen, and developed an attitude, that she had to work extra hard, for the simple things in life. At the age of eighteen, she hoped to make something of herself and struck out on her own. She went from one dead-end job to the next, as misfortune hung over her like a cloud

The Will-o-the-wisps: A Will-o-the-wisp resembles a 6 foot Pixie with transparent wings. When born, it is snow white, and as it grows older, they change to yellow in their youth. Then, adult woman are red, the men are dark green. The military personnel is blue green; the ruler is always deep blue weather male or female.

Harry: is about six feet tall, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and lived a rather humdrum life before he entered a portal with Bitsy. He lived in a ranch house in the country; and every night, and sat on his back deck, and studies the night sky. His job in the office in the city that he assumed that is great. Harry can speak and write many languages and preferred to live as a bachelor until he met Bitsy. His job at the office was a mind-numbing everyday job, but to Harry, it was fine. Except a pest called Bitsy, who later became his wife?

Bitsy: has eight brothers and sisters, all older and bigger than her, she learned to fight for what she wanted, at an early age, or she would get, zip. Bitsy is in her mid-twenties, five feet three, inches tall, blonde hair and blue eyes, well proportioned, and a ball of energy, and always has a smile. She was born in a small town in Arizona and works as a file clerk in an office building, in the city, twenty miles away. She is emotional, outspoken, and always has a cute remark, for the person who crosses her. Until she and Harry was ushered acrost the galaxy.

Sam: He is short about five feet three inches tall, and rather plump. He lives for the adventure, the more danger that is involved, the better he likes it. Sam can achieve more by working alone than with a team. He was an orphan at the age of eight and grew up in a home for boys. There he had to learn to defend himself or against those who was twice his size in order to survive. At the age of eighteen, Sam joined the Avalon Prime Space Patrol and quickly moved up, through the ranks to the position of Admiral. After his turn in the space military was over, Sam formed a company called The Agency, and was referred to as Admiral Sam the Stout. A short time after he formed The Agency, he took a young boy named Thor under his wing and taught him everything he knew.

Sam has red hair around the sides of his head he is an adventurer, hung ho is this a private fight, or can anyone join, type of person.

Tippy; she is a Will-o-the-wisp from the planet Dicapl and is 6 feet tall. Her mother is Megan, and her father was Agar. She first appears in Quest, a journey. Where she accidentally stole Harry for a mate. She becomes Prince blue’s gal Friday because of the way she handled herself, with a giant spider called a Tree Walker. Seeing How Sam and Dora adopts Debbie Tippy felt rejected from the Wisp Community and turned to Thor and Cherry. Who adopts her as their first daughter.

Gideon Bear: he is a two-foot-tall, blue Three-Dimensional Particle Acceleration bear. He is the messenger bear around the Institute, and is a favorite of Thor, because he saved Thor’s life.

Ab: is a tall, thin figure in a white robe, with light orange skin, dark blue oval eyes, and a small slit for a mouth. His full title is, Master Ashdothmpisgah Shechaniah Bashanmhavothmjair. The name Bashanmhavothmjair was taken from Dut 3:17. He is the leader of a planet called Mystera. That is suspended between time and space. The only way to visit Mystera is to be taken there by one of the leaders.

Missy, W. Wells" Is A sprite, with light brown curly hair, from the planet Slandor and is thirty-four inches tall and is Pixy’s younger sister. Missy loves weird sandwiches, and is in charge of the sprite menu, at the institute. Missy is the General Supervisor of the Tram depots and the sprite food inspector.

Gideon Bear: he is a two-foot-tall, blue Three-Dimensional Particle Acceleration bear. He is the messenger bear around the Institute, and is a favorite of Thor, because he saved Thor’s life.

Cathy T. Loganberry: She is five feet, five inches tall, and is the morale director at the Institute. She goes on undercover missions for Thor. She also is the only one that can beat Rock on the obstacle course and is the creator of Gideon Bear.

Rock: Tomas L. Buttermen is his real name, was born to a wealthy family on the Planet Avalon Prime where people told him that he should rent himself out, as a beanpole.

Rock worked out on a daily basis, until he was solid. Tomes soon changed his name to Rock; and is six feet four and has blond hair; he is the chief of Security, at the Institute. Rock has no fear and can handle himself in any kind of situation. In a fight, where everyone is fighting anyone who is near him. Rock can walk in the room, with no weapon, and in a short time be the only one left standing.

General: is a male lion who stands five feet tall from his front paws to the tip of his ears. His first owner was McCarthy who severely mistreated General and was sent to a tropical planet where Thor found Toby and named him General because of his enormous size and his overreaches roar. General is a kitten, despite his enormous size, but knows when criminal is close. One roar from him and crooks freeze in their tracks. He works on the security staff at the Institute helping to keep things under control. Because of General keen sense of criminal activity, Thor and Cherry are alive today.

Chrissy, her full name is. Doctor Chrissy Baker Windstrum. A sprite doctor who believes that a hospital needs to have plants to promote healing. She uses an inhaler in combination with heated gels, instead of needles. Chrissy carries a forest green medical bag with a white leaf on the side. She is thirty-six inch tall Sprite with butterfly wings and is from Slandor, and she is the new doctor at the Institute.

Stacy: a slender human female; 5’9" tall with short light brown hair. She is Thor’s secretary. She is charming and witty and was hired by Cherry because she is all business. When it comes to work. Her IQ is 120 and is also manager of the Beach Tram Dept instead of Constance.

Woody P. Juarez: The ex-Manager of the cave jumpers Woody is 6’tall with short blond hair and is sneaky low life.

Lazertran: they are cold blooded humanoid reptiles, which live on a jungle planet. Their ultimate gold is to bring all humans into subjection unto them. Their chief city is, on the planet is Lizatra

The Hummer-gene: An old man with a twisted knotted staff. He was supposed to be carved from the mystical Hummer-Gene tree. He has long white hair down to his ankles. He wields power that terrifies the Lazertran. The Hummer Gene was captured by Lars and held for years while Lars controlled the but Lars was overthrown when Thor released the Hummer-Gene.

The GS-2 Squad

Alpha One: AKA Sam: human male is known as

Gamma: AKA Tippy: Will-o-the-wisp female is known as.

Delta AKA Debbie: human female in known as Delta. Sam and Dora’s adopted daughter. She is a voluptuous woman in her thirties, with long auburn hair. She first appeared in Vortex. And is in the SG-2 squad.

Beta: AKA Moe: is known as.

The Alpha Wing: is their spacecraft.

The M.C.W.: Only used by Moe AKA Bata because it is set to her DNA. It fires a wave of pale yellow, energy that incarnated everything in its path. Each team member wears a long black cape. with a red omega symbol on the back, and a broad brimmed hat, and a broad sword, and an energy pistol.

Their portal: is shaped like a red omega symbol.

Chapter 1

IN SEARCH OF

Laurie’s husband, Gregg, a tall, brawny man with short brown hair clad in worn-out jeans and a white t-shirt, drove their dark blue, late model Ford pickup down a country road, overshadowed with trees searching for a white birch tree growing out of a boulder. After three hours, Laurie, who is 5’11 tall with red curly hair and loves to sketch asked, How long are we going to search for this so-called tree rock of yours?

As long as it takes. We have about three more miles to go before this road forks. Then, we turn around and do it all over again.

You have got to be out of your mind. I could think of many things we could do with our vacation rather than drive around.

We promised the Indian chief we would find his lost burial ground. Gregg glanced at his wife and inquired, Are you feeling alright? You look a little pale.

I’m fine, Love. Laurie then hollered, Hey, over there, on your left! Isn’t that the tree you’re looking for?

Sure is, shouted Gregg, quickly parked the truck, handed his wife her backpack, and rushed to the White Birch to examine it.

Laurie slowly approached and questioned with excitement, Is it?

Yup! exclaimed Gregg. And the markings are clear. We travel, due west."

Where? questioned Laurie.

So, you are interested in finding the burial site, after all.

One of my girlfriends told me I was crazy to tromp around the woods on my vacation when I should be relaxing on a beach somewhere. Then, she handed me a skimpy bathing suit that barely covered my keister and told me to have fun.

Worried that his darling wife wanted to lie on a beach almost naked, he questioned, You, Miss Modest, wanted to walk around a public beach showing everything you’ve got!

Relax, Love. I wouldn’t even think of doing anything like that.

Then, what did you do with the string bikini?

Giggling, Laurie stated, I held it up and said, thanks for the scraps; it’s just what I needed for the quilt I’m working on. She snatched the bikini from my hands and walked off in a huff. Now, can you show me the symbols you were studying?

Gregg knelt and showed the three arrows grouped together and explained, Notice the middle arrow is longer than the two side ones, which means we go straight.
