This book is written to help its readers learn how to live a life of lasting value. A life that is of value to those we leave behind, and has a lasting value for all eternity to come.

INTRODUCTION
How many people live worthless lives that count for nothing in the grand scheme of things? That is a tough question. I’m sure to some it might sound harsh or judgmental. I can assure you that is not the case. It is similar to the question Jesus asked in Mark 8:36, For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
My intention of asking the question above is the same as that of Jesus in asking His question. Jesus asked His question to get people to evaluate the lasting value of the life they were living. Were they living for what is temporary, the things of this world or for what is eternal, the eternal future of their souls in the life to come. That is something we all need to take a good look at before the time comes when we finally face eternity.
This book is written to help its readers learn how to live a life of lasting value. A life that is of value to those we leave behind, and has a lasting value for all eternity to come. It is a life that is lived for God in order to gain the lasting treasures of Heaven rather than a life that is lived for self to gain the temporary things of this world that will be burned up in the end.
