1. Sequential Shooting/Self-Timer/Flash Button:Opens the Drive and Flash mode menus. Front dial controls Flash settings. Rear dial controls Drive settings.

2. AF/Metering Mode Button:Opens the AF (autofocus) and Metering mode menus. Front dial controls Metering mode, and Rear dial controls AF mode.

3. On/Off Lever:Turns camera on and off.

4. Hot Shoe:External flash unit mounts here.

5. Mode Dial:Use to select Shooting mode.

6. Mode Dial Lock Button:Press to lock/unlock Mode dial.
