The Title
––––––––
"Broken Loki" refers to the many sad and heartbroken stories shared with me, including the love journeys I've traveled to arrive here. I've always had a good listening ear and a soft heart for women—their glory, their pain, their complicities, all of which make them extraordinary. The poems and verses of this book were written to express my journal of love and hate, as well as the pleasure and pain of those who gifted me with their personal stories. The works of this book are only an art form and can be universally understood. Forgive me if anything stings; I have also been stung.
The Art
––––––––
The central artwork tells a captivating tale. It depicts two hearts, one pointing upward and the other downward, symbolizing the ups and downs of a relationship. The cracks that stretch from the hands represent the point of breaking, but the hands coming together in union hold everything together. The artwork masterfully illustrates the complexities and beauty of relationships, capturing the essence of the human experience.

i cried to flood my heart
washing my feelings away-
i cried to quench
my thirst so i wouldn't
dehydrate-
staying with you is dying,
accepting death over life-
and to live is to die
but with you,
