Countless books on golf technique have been written by those far more qualified than me, so this book will focus more on alternative, perhaps easier-to-achieve ways of improving than eliminating that flying right elbow or getting your left arm fully extended at the top. Experts say you should limit your swing thoughts to one – maybe two at a pinch – out on the course, so what good would it do anyway to fill your mind with 100 technical do’s and don’ts
as you stand over the ball? Therein lies the path to the fabled but undesirable state of paralysis by analysis

Shooting the lowest possible score is about so much more than technique alone. It’s also about thinking effectively on and off the course, adopting appropriate strategies, applying a liberal dose of common sense, and making sure your equipment is helping rather than hindering
