1 Same pace every time
When it comes to putting, pace is the key for me. If you watch all the good putters, the ball is going in the hole at the same pace every time – not firmer sometimes, softer sometimes, dead-weight sometimes. It’s going in at a pace that would send it perhaps a foot by every time.
That’s what I like to focus on, so I have a drill where I select three positions – say ten, 15 and 20 feet – and then put a coin down a foot past the hole. You now have to hit three putts from each distance, with the goal of
